There's no rhyme or reason to how you're routed there; you just have to go where ever the cops direct you. We actually wound up in the same lot and same aisle of the pholks we wanted to meet up with; probably the first time that's ever happened in Camden. Surrounded by boarded up buildings but we ha...

I'd rather hear "Lawyers, Guns, and Money", but "Werewolves" makes sense because it's on a semi-current album. And it is pretty darn fun yelling aaaOOOOOO. I happen to LOVE "Begonias", but I really wish he'd let the guitar players and Jake let loose on this (or any othe...

Re: Camden

Just heard from the Tweeter and they emphatically stated lots open @ 5:00PM - and no alcohol allowed in the parking lot this year - violarors will be subject to arrest. Guess this was due to all the trouble in previous years. A chosen few have ruined it for everyone!!!! That SUCKS !!! :x :x :x :x :...

Food for thought

Sonny Landreth's next gig is this Saturday in New England; wonder if we'll be seeing him in Camden.

I've taken it over for a couple of shows (not JB), and SGH is right. Make sure there's heavy cushion so you don't miss the start of the show. They keep running after the show until everyone is back, but the wait can be pretty long. Not that you wouldn't do the same in your car if drove over...

Nothing against covers. Love Southern Cross and Begonias.

But BEG is a song I like enough not to skip on a CD....sometimes. But when you look forward to a show for four months, it's not what you want to hear as a closer.

My biggest problem was that so many people went NUTS over the BEG encore. That means he'll keep $#)(*$ closing with it!!!!!

Otherwise, a great show, great time.

No one has mentioned the key difference. Jimmy actually wrote the songs that made him famous.

There are a few KC songs that I like, but none have the phrase "words and music by Kenny Chesney" in the credits.

Guy Clark. DUBLIN BLUES and KEEPERS-LIVE are both great records.

As I said in the other thread, he's my favorite guy musically. As long as his guitar is in his hands and plugged in, he can do no wrong.

Without it, no right.

Eddie & Alex are in their own little worlds. They know longer give a sh1t about the fans. Sammy and Mike, on the other hand, are on the road rockin right now. EVH is my favorite musician ever, but I'm afraid you're right. He'll need to go broke or have a road to Damascus experience to tour with...
