Re: Any news on Australia or New Zealand show in the near future

I went to the concert last time Jimmy played in New Zealand and from memory it was about 1987. Said he'd come back but never has, well not to play a concert anyway. Jimmy is not particularly well known in New Zealand, I'd say 99.9% of people would not have heard of him. He'd struggle to fill a big ...

Re: Some rather "smelly" cat advice needed...

Thanks again everyone...I woke up this morning, after leaving Lola in the lounge all night, and am so far pleased to report that there were no little parcels waiting for me. However, when I opened the lounge door Lola went flying for the bathroom and jumped into the tub. She didn't do her business i...

Re: Some rather "smelly" cat advice needed...

How much time passed between Frank's death and Lola's tub pooping? It could be her odd way of mourning or the lack of his poop in the box. Cats can be so weird sometimes. My cat plays in the tub. That is the oddest way of mourning, but my wife and I think it did start happening after he died. You n...

Re: Some rather "smelly" cat advice needed...

Is the box getting scooped at least daily (regularly means different things to different people) and changed every week or two? Is the litter in the box old? You may want to try a LitterMaid. Be sure to get the one with a plastic and not stainless rake. The one with the stainless rake was awful. Th...

Re: Some rather "smelly" cat advice needed...

Thanks everyone for the great suggestions. I remember Irish Spring Soap from my Michigan days and wish we had it here...you've just made me think of yet another thing to have imported here from my family. Since the kitten (Lola is her name...she used to have a brother named Frank but he unfortuante...

Sorry...I should have explained that as well. The cat sleeps in the bathroom...with the door closed...so she doesn't have a lot of options.

Re: Some rather "smelly" cat advice needed...

Cats will often not use the litter box when they are sick. You might want to talk to your vet. Also, are you keeping the litter box clean? Scooping out it out in between changes? Some cats simply will not use a dirty litter box. I've often heard of putting moth balls in your flowerbeds if a cat is ...

Re: Soft Pretzels

I have never made them (reheating doesn't count!) but I sure enjoy eating them. Yellow mustard? Brown mustard? No mustard? This time was no mustard, but there was a cinnamon and sugar topping and garlic and parmesan cheese topping that also sounded good. First go just had salt...they were a bit che...

Some rather "smelly" cat advice needed...

I'm not quite sure why, but my 10 month old kitten has taken a liking to pooping in our bathtub at night. It will use the litter box all day long and rarely has accidents, but for the past week or so we have been waking up to a feline feces in our tub. Now, I know that I should be grateful th...

GOOD LUCK ANDREW!! This is a great country and I know that if you get the opportunity to come here you will love it! I haven't been to the Fiordlands yet, but from everything I have heard they are breathtaking. Best of luck!

Soft Pretzels

Hi everyone,

I made some soft pretzels with my son today and they turned out pretty good. However, I believe they could be better. Anyone have good pretzel recipes I should be trying.

Cheers

Re: Super Bowl

Weren't my Lions perefect this season? Did I miss something? Last season the team that was perfect in the regular season went to the Super Bowl...I just thought that the same would happen again this year. Man, where have I been? This is strange! Go Lions!
