I'm not trying to be a Devil's advocate or disagreeable, but my wife, my two daughters, some friends, neighbors, and myself, thought the sound was totally acceptable. It ain't a perfect world out there, the show was splendid as far as large venues go. Next year can't come quick enough. I guess we're...

It was a great show! The weather was perfect, and the PH scene in that excellent parking facility also was perfect. All the sights, sounds , and scents that make Margaritaville a reality. A couple of other notes, Tina played guitar on one tune, Amy Lee had a really nice featured solo on another, and...

Kelly's is a bit pricey. Crabby Dicks upstairs on Duval is great and reasonable. Sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees, meaning Margaritaville is pretty damn good. Mahi Mahi, is primo, Conch Chowder is good, whole menu is very good. As always, G.M., Jr.

It is time to get a new pair since they are wearing through on ther bottoms. I will hng them on my wall with my first pair that lasted me 3, they are just l...

The original was done by Byron Lee and the Dragoneers at Sunfest in Jamaica at least 22yr.s ago. Arrow covered it, and had a hit in the Carribbean community. Johanson again used it when he started that Buster Poindexter bit. As always, G.M., Jr.

Also, (now I'm gettin' cranked up philosophisin') One probably knows another person better, if having never met that person, in person. The only connection is an exchange of ideas, personality, thoughts, and opinions. You don't know for sure if that person has a fat ass, or no ass, a large nose or a...

In my humble opinion, you either know a person, or think you know another person, or you don't. Ain't no gray area. The reason I say that is, does anyone REALLY know anyone, other than maybe a spouse / partner, personally? I think not, as human nature doesn't genuinely permit it. As always, G.M.,Jr.

"Mr. Utley"

I often wondered if the young ballplayer for the Philadelphia Phillies named Chase Utley, could be a relation to our own Mike Utley. I looked in my Street & Smith's yearbook only to find that Chase was from Pasadena, Ca. A long shot I thought, having assumed Mike was from somewhere in the deep s...

"All things must pass". But you cannot re-write history. JB's music is all good, no doubt. However, all the old "Bubba" classics "smacked" of Mr. Gregory Taylor, he helped give those tunes their unique personality. Long live "Fingers". That's not mean't to tak...
