Chaos, chaos, chaos. (No not US politics :) ) We have no kitchen. The builder arrived yesterday and started the rip out. Halfway through the demolition, Mrs Rabz got in his ear. Apparently the layout and design we had agreed and quoted is now all changed. I wonder how much that is going to cost me?

It's a sad day here in Key West. People are leaving flowers and margaritas by his recording studio. Somber parties at Captain Tony's and Margaritaville. City is doing a second line procession to honor him tomorrow. I barely come here anymore, but had to today. He had a huge influence on my life. Sa...

Good morning Bill. It's National French Fry Day and World Of Beer is having a French Fry eating contest tonight. Every contestant starts with 2 pounds of fries and whoever finishes first, or as the contest rules say "gets them down and keeps them down", wins $200. I think I'll pass. Funni...

With a combination of an RDO, the weekend, a day's leave and a public holiday I have managed to string five days off in a row. I had such plans. Things to do in the shed, get a radio or two running in the shack, do some painting, etc etc etc. Here it is five days later and I have done pretty much no...

Yesterday was a stinker - 105°F + and now it's 7 AM and it is still high 80s. Today is forecast to be low 90s and stormy tonight. We could do with some rain. We've had about 1/8th of an inch through the gauge since Christmas. (This converting stuff to Imperial measurements sure is tedious!) Some goo...
