Re: Warning: Seventy-Two Percent of Grocery Carts Have

The only spooky thing are the drug resistant germs. Please don't demand an antibiotic from your physician. If one isn't ordered, it's because it won't help. If you do get a prescription, take the entire thing! Those two scenarios are responsible for our super bugs. I'd add "antibacterial"...

Re: Any Interesting Twitter People You Follow?

You see I am just not a follower. So twitter and facespace or mybook or whatever they are called hold no appeal.

Besides, is anyone "interesting" on twitter? Seems like a paradox to me.

Re: Questions about JB that bother me so.....

So where was Charleston in Sydney? He usually is right behind you. Seriously, I would love to talk with him about his writing, album note, music lyrics, books, journals, etc. He probably WAS behind him, only in this case he should have been in front. :( I gather that Charleston is the BIG security ...

Re: 10 islands to see before you die

Can't say I agree with the list. Bali? Really? Does the author not realise that is is so over-run with Schoolies (Australian for Spring Break I guess) and package tourists that there is nothing left of the magic? What about Sav'aii in Samoa? Quiet, beautiful, amazing people and culture. What about E...

Somewhere in between

Hi All In the FL Keys, Key West thread I have asked a few questions and the responses have been really helpful. So this relates to travelling between the Keys and Cape Canaveral. We probably have a couple of days up our sleeve, so a leisurely drive up the A1A with the top down is in order. The quest...

Re: FL Keys / Key West

OK hire car seems to be the way to go.

(added to list)

Thanks for the quick responses!!

I was working in FLL for a few weeks in 2008, and got to KW twice. However it was always as a "road trip" so I am quite vague on it all ;)

Hope to build a few memories that I retain this time.

Getting to / From KW

G'day Pholks, I am looking for some local knowledge. In September(ish) SWMBO and I will be plonking down in FLL or Miami. The plan is to overnight then proceed with all due haste to KW. (We will have to overnight because after around 30 hours of travel and booze we will not be functioning :) ) So wh...
