Big fan of the Duval House - stayed there twice, with no complaints either time. It's a little further down Duval towards Southernmost Point, but we've always been happy with our stay.

Have you read any of Randy Wayne Whites' books? They are all Florida based (Randy lives on Pine Island-behind Sanibel) and the critics are calling him the "next" John D. Macdonald..I have to agree. His books take you back to the Islands every time...I have read them all...so start with He...
