Re: Songs we'd FLUV to hear
They Don’t Dance Like Carmen No More. Possibly my all-time favorite. Cuban Crime of Passion is also a song I really enjoy, but it sounds awful when they have broken it out in semi-recent history. The intro is totally different and the tempo is just a hair slower. I love the uptempo of the album vers...

Re: Favorite Concert Opening Song
Now my favorite of the video intro songs is the Songs from St. Somewhere instrumental medley (Far Side of the World / Caloo / Lage Nom Ai / Kinja). That was really cool.

Re: Buffett Songs you just don't want to hear anymore....
Here are some of the songs we got from Welcome to Fin Land in Chicago:
Wino and I Know
Off to See the Lizard
Life is Just a Tire Swing
Gods Own Drunk
School Boy Heart
Jolly Mon Sing
Those songs have largely been out of the rotation ever since.

Re: 2017 I Don't Know Tour Sellouts?
A sellout just means all tickets were sold. There are always going to be people who flake out and don’t show up or are at the show but never go to their seat. It’s true of every concert and sporting event.
Wrigley was sold out last year, as far as I can remember.

Re: Alpine Reopening
I know it's been speculated that they might be worried an Alpine show might take away from Wrigley attendance, but is there any concern the other way? If Jimmy only drew 16,000 last time, do we think he's maybe worried it'd be even less this year at Alpine? It's hard to take away from an attendance...

Re: Alpine Reopening
Just saw this on FB. Think it's safe to say that worrying about DMB taking the last show at Alpine is not going to happen since neither Zac Brown or DMB is playing in Tinley Park this year tinley.JPG I don’t think ZBB even can play Tinley until their popularity drops off. Their last show there, 9/3...

Best thing you ever saw at a Jimmy show at Alpine Valley and hope to see this year? The ambulance giving margaritas via a drip bag while you laid on a gurney. Cheers Wiscoleeds WORST thing I ever saw at Alpine Valley was at the Summerzcool Tour stop in August 2009 — which was the concert where I br...

Re: No FRISCO TEXAS concert this year?
No new dates announced at all this week. Hi guys, I’m also waiting on dates, particularly Alpine Valley but I’d also be interested in Orange Beach. 24 shows have been announced so far, which is 6-11 shows shy of normal, albeit he’s playing some larger venues this year, so maybe we should expect the...

Re: Alpine Reopening
Maybe Wrigley not selling is a sign of the times. Fenway isn't selling either. When a quarter or more of the set list at almost every show is cover tunes, it could be that people are tired of seeing what's rapidly becoming a lounge act. I became a Jimmy Buffett fan because I like Jimmy Buffett musi...

You should go on a African safari if you want sights, sounds, and smells, sounds like a lot more fun then watching, listing to a bunch of Drunks and the smell of regurgitated tequila. Much more safe to be able to get on a subway to get back to your hotel, then getting in your car and driving after a...

This board is awfully negative for Parrotheads. :) No tailgating sucks, but Jimmy clearly views playing at Wrigley as a dream come true. I went last year, and the atmosphere was special. Don't wanna go? Don't! My crew and I and tens of thousands of other Parrotheads will have an epic time without y...
