Re: Confirmed 2019 Tour Dates **Updated 1/16/19**
So, any predictions on who’s left? It seems like Jimmy might do a less heavy tour this summer, but I have to figure there are a couple more obvious ones: - Las Vegas, NV - A CA show (Chula Vista or Mountain View?) - A Florida show (Tampa, Orlando or West Palm?) The rest I’m less sure about: - Camden...

FTR, my crew is staying in a place in Lake Geneva and capitalizing on the bus service, seemed too good to pass up! Should have around 8 going. So pumped!

Re: Pittsburgh 2019
Was turnout really that disappointing? :( I always thought of Burgettstown, PA as one of the hotbeds of Parrothead fandom, in a rung just below Cincinnati, Atlanta and Mansfield/New England. Still, I would be surprised if he skips it ... looks like since 2000, the Pittsburgh area has only been skipp...

Re: Who's Going to Alpine Valley?? 07/20/2019
So to bring this back up, are there any non-drivers attending with advice on how to get there and get home? Get a room at the resort if any are still available Haha, I called and they shut me down immediately. Got a hotel about 8 miles away, and I’m hoping they have a shuttle. Otherwise, it looks l...

Re: Who's going to Atlanta, GA on 4/25/2019?
If it would have been on a Saturday, I honestly would have flown down. I grew up with Feeding Frenzy being some of my main Buffett exposure, and I’ve always wanted to see Jimmy at the two places where he always referencing this wild ride starting and the two locations that made that album - Atlanta ...

Re: Who's Going to Alpine Valley?? 07/20/2019
I’ll be there with a crew of drunks on the lawn. :) Hey, gotta introduce my generation to the Parrothead way of life any way they’ll listen! ;) Anyway, I’m also a bit concerned about logistics of getting out of there. I’m guessing Ubering will be near impossible? (I got the nearest hotel I could, li...

So pumped for this! A little worried about the logistics of Ubering to our hotel some eight miles away (definitely no drivers in our crew, LOL), but we’ll burn that bridge when we come to it.
So happy to return to Alpine!!

Re: Atlanta - 2019
I’ve never been (and know nothing of the tailgating scene), but I watched a bit of that show on Margaritaville TV last year. That new amphitheater looks awesome and like a match made in heaven for Jimmy (JB + Atlanta + palm trees is about as classic as it gets). Jimmy made several comments during th...

Re: Alpine Valley and Detroit 2019 (Is it too early for this thread?)
Set on bringing my friend group to Alpine this year ... I (cautiously optimistically) figure it will be a Saturday, right? Once this board has some date rumors goin’, I might just go ahead and get a room! We all went to Wrigley and had a blast last year (despite what the naysayers were saying here, ...

Re: Who's Going to Chicago???
Show is finally this week!! Hopefully everyone else is as excited as I am! So excited!! For all the flaws of the non-amphitheater locations, Wrigleyville still has a special atmosphere; it’s even more special filled with Parrotheads. I’m going to really try to get to this area earlier this year: ht...

Re: Caroline Jones on Come Monday
She’s alright as a female voice on Trip Around the Sun, and she’s a fine opening act; however, I’d have to agree that it’s not a good fit for Come Monday. It also deprives Jimmy of the chance to do the whole “It’s so nice to be in <location> again!” bit, and I like the local shoutouts. On an unrelat...

Re: Who's Going to Chicago???
I’ll be there with a group! My girlfriend’s parents have a condo (with a pool) downtown, so we’ll spend a lot of the day there. However, we’ll head to Wrigleyville around 4:00! Last year the atmosphere in the neighborhood was awesome. We mostly went to Slugger’s, and I thought it was really fun. I’d...

Re: 05.19.2018 - Kansas City, MO
Wow, awesome set list! In my opinion, it was the perfect combination of songs to both reward the die-hards and keep the “party atmosphere” the more casual fans like ... gotta fill the seats, after all, and it looked packed!

Re: RM - Matt Hoggatt is AWFUL!
Okay, I was trying to lighten up about this, but ... most of the DJs are terrible. Kirsten is pretty good, Steve Huntington is fine (if a bit odd), Carson is okay ... but Matt Hoggatt is HORRIBLE, and JD needs to just chill out. LOL, it sounds like it's his first time on air every time! It's okay, J...

Rank the Locations You've Seen Jimmy
Out of the locations that you have been lucky enough to see a Jimmy Buffett concert, how do they rank? If you have been to a lot of locations, maybe do a top 5? Maybe add a wish list location, too. :) Here is my order: 1. Alpine Valley (East Troy, WI) - Amphitheater, tailgating, wooded setting, firs...

Re: Wrigley Field 2018
^ I had heard several times that Wrigley DID sell out last year, but yes: I highly doubt no Clarkston, MI show has much to do with Wrigley. It probably just didn’t work. :( As for the poster asking about pre-concert at Wrigley, there wasn’t any tailgating. The new enclosed, grassy area outside of Wr...

Re: SOASOAS 2018 TOUR Opening Song?
Livingston Saturday Night is a good guess ... I’m going to guess something from SOASOAS that isn’t the title track, so I’ll go with Mañana, too! That’d be a great opening song! I’ll find out in person in 5 days in Des Moines!
