Sail on, Mr. Armstrong. I was 18 when you walked on the moon. I was babysitting that afternoon and thankfully the parents got back in time so I could run up the block to my home and watch the landing.
Thank you for your bravery and curiosity.

Re: Perpendicular Parking
Oops. No, I made a mistake, too. I thought we were talking about parallel parking.
I pull in and, like Auntie, I try to get a parking space where I can pull through. I read that's what shoplifters do so they can make a fast getaway.

Re: Perpendicular Parking
I back in. On the occasions when I am forced to nose in (only see a spot at the last minute, and car in back too close on my tail), I wind up having to adjust about five or six times.
When I back in, it's one, two and I'm there (maybe three). My driving instructor taught me well!

Ireland - County Laois
One of these days I am going to hop on a plane to the land of birth of my paternal Grandfather. He was born in Mountrath, County Laois (pronounced leesh), Ireland. I've researched to a small extent, but does anyone have any first hand knowledge? Vacationed there? Lived there? Any advice? Comments? P...

I wonder if Steve has upgraded God's RAM and taught St Peter how to text yet... :) Don't forget creating Playlists.  Gregorian Chant Mormon Tabernacle Choir Trop Rock :) Maybe Steve could import that Pope Jimmy CD to God's iPod. If anyone can do it, it would be those two! :D...

I wish I had saved my stubs. I saw - and yes I SWEAR I actually heard! - the Beatles at Forest Hills, NY in August 1964, Shea Stadium August 1965, Shea Stadium August 1966, and George and Ringo at George's Concert for Bangladesh August 1971.
