The only science fair I ever entered was in 8th grade and I'm pretty sure my teacher required it. I did a project involving plants--I can't remember exactly what, but I had to see if some condition affected the way the plants grew or something like that. I didn't win.

I was surprised by last night's results, but not disappointed. Carly has a good voice, but there was something about her that bothered me. Maybe it's that sense of fakeness that Barefoot Gypsy mentioned, I don't know.

I must have slippers in the winter. We have hardwood floors and they can get cold. In the summer I prefer to go barefoot, but in the cooler weather I like a nice pair of soft, fuzzy slippers.
