I guess I should have phrased my question better--I certainly do not intend to actually sit! (well, maybe while we're waiting for the show to start.....)

Thanks for the tips! I can't wait for this show!

tips for sitting on the lawn

Got tix this morning to go to Charlotte--this is my first outdoor show and my first time sitting on the lawn. Any tips from the lawn veterans on how to make the most of the experience?

Yay!! Congrats!!

Little miss Annabelle decided to just settle the whole argument for you. She's a smart girl, that one.

She's beautiful. And your wife looks great for someone who just gave birth--I looked like H E L L.

Congrats and good luck on this amazing journey called parenthood. :D

I only disagreed with one of the vote-offs tonight and that was Asajha (or however you spell her name.......the girl who's dad died before her audition). I really liked her. But that's JMO. Danny (or "Danjaya" as my husband called him) definitely needed to go!! Yeah, between the last two ...

Well I am sure it is probably just an aussie media beatup .. but they are saying that Michael is now one of the favourites? He's one of my faves, I know that! I think he's one of the best men this year. I only disagreed with one of the vote-offs tonight and that was Asajha (or however you spell her...

Well, you've gotten quite a few responses, but I'll throw mine in as well. I was induced 5 days past my due date--my son was born the following day. (which happened to be March 9, so it's not a bad day to have a baby if she does end up doing it on Sunday ) Anyway......my doc said he would wait...

Oh this one is a touchy one for me. I was raised Presbyterian.....grew up going to church every Sunday, participated in youth group (which I hated b/c all the kids were snobs, but my parents made me do it anyway), that kind of thing. But ever since I left home, I have not returned to church very oft...

This is really surprising to me. Obama came here to the campus where I work last month. He held a rally in our outdoor amphitheater. I was wondering how they would handle security and searches in such an open place, but they roped the whole place off and only had two entry points. Everyone was searc...

The list needs some Monty Python on it........have a Python-a-thon with Holy Grail, Life of Brian and the Meaning of Life.

Also......show "Plan 9 From Outer Space" and then follow up with "Ed Wood."

A friend of mine had SYKBH and made a copy for me--after that I was hooked. The first one I bought myself (about a week after getting SYKBH) was Feeding Frenzy. After that I soon bought Fruitcakes, which was a new release at the time. It was all downhill from there. 8)

Something about having kids and worrying over them makes this stuff harder to take. I completely know what you mean! Ever since my son was born, I have a much harder time with scary stuff--more so movies than books for some reason. He turned me into a wuss. LOL If you want to give King another try,...
