Re: Who's going to Chicago, June 28, 2014?

Got tons of Priority Club Holiday Inn points, so I have made a reservation there! 2 bed accessible room since that is what they had. Now just need a good seat for the concert!

Huge space, picnic tables, and a short walk to other parking lots.

Money well spent at those shows.
Where can we purchase these???

This year is Tinley Park, not Toyota, so this won't matter.

It is hard to believe she was 85 because every one of us has an image in our heads, and it is of that adorable little girl with the curly hair and the wonderful talent!

Re: R.I.P., Philip Seymour Hoffman

I will admit to being a bit stunned by the harsh tone of some of the comments here. I have a dear friend who is 25+ years sober, and she has taught me a lot about addiction and recovery. It is disease, not a weakness. She went through a 12 step program and has never slipped, but tells me that when e...

Re: Chicago 2014

Really curious to see which venue he plays at this year. I skipped Northerly Island, and don't think I would go if he is there this year, so I am definitely hoping for one of the TPs.

Re: November 22, 1963....where were you?

I was home for lunch, and it was on the way back to school that we learned that he had been shot. A little later, while we were in class, the janitor came around, looked into the room, and signaled with a thumbs down. I remember the shock, and the incredible sadness as the tv stations went nonstop o...

Re: Margaritaville New Orleans - Everything Must Go ???

Just spoke to the store. The employee said that the retail shop is closing on Jan 1st. The cafe will always be open as it always has been. New Orleans signature merchandise will be available for purchase online. They also expect to sell some pieces in the cafe. I hate to see this happen as it was t...
