Don't have scans, but...

I don't have scans of the original artwork, but I could probably take pretty decent photos of the original artwork of many of the albums if anyone is interested.

Let me know.

Oops...I meant to reply.

I've been hitting the margaritas a bit too early this evening. My post above was meant to be a reply to:

At any rate, if anyone is still willing to help, I'd appreciate it!

Great idea TikiBar

I bought a tour t-shirt in Cincy but it was entirely too big for me to wear. I've tried to figure out how to get the size I need but so far I've come up empty. No one is selling them on eBay and I don't know anyone going to the west coast shows. At any rate, if I may piggyback on that request above,...

iTunes for Windows

According to MacMinute.com: "Newsweek reports that Apple has 'quietly informed some music insiders that it’s moved up the date for expanding its current Mac-only iTunes [with Music Store] for the vast universe of Windows-based PCs to mid-October.' " A European version of iTunes is slated f...

iTunes

Yes, iTunes uses a compression called AAC which I think was developed by Dolby. Its encoded at 128 kbps but don't let that fool you. When I first heard Apple was using a 128 encoding scheme, I laughed and thought "you fools." As it turns out, AAC is like nothing I've ever heard in terms of...

At times like these...

Its times like these that I'm so glad I'm an Apple user (well, I'm actually always glad that I don't use Wintel junk). But now I get the new live stuff almost a month before everyone else!

Thank you Jimmy and Apple!

Fins up!

Ouch...I need to proof better.

"And Key Lime Lee, I don't think calling my opinion "moronic" is very Parrothead-like. I take exception. "

I meant to say NOT very Parrothead-like.

Sorry :-(

I forgot to log in on my last post about copyright infringement vs. stealing...sorry about that. I think its definitely a gray area that people will never agree upon. And I didn't write the article - I just read it and agreed with it. And Key Lime Lee, I don't think calling my opinion "moronic&...

The whole band IS doing it. This summer they've all been wearing bowling-style Tiki Tour uniform shirts. The only exceptions may have been Amy, Tina and Nadirah. But the rest of the band was definitely outfitted in those brown bowling shirts. But I can almost guarantee Ralph had on a different hat e...

What is Buffett wearing?

At the risk of sounding like an obsessive phan, can anyone tell me what kind of shorts Buffett has been wearing on the 2003 Tiki Time Tour? You know the blue and white ones that he's been pairing with the yellow t-shirts. A few years ago I stumbled next door to the bar, no wait, I stumbled over to A...

Glad everyone is enjoying the interview. You should have seen me bolt from bed when I heard Margaritaville announced with the words, "we'll be talking to Mr. Buffett in just a few minutes. But first, let's go to Margaritaville." I found a boombox relatively quickly, but finding one of thos...

Buffett Interviewed on Columbus' K 95.5

From Shane: Jimmy Buffett was interviewed on Columbus, Ohio's K 95.5 Thursday morning at 7 a.m. Much like last week's reported radio interview, Jimmy was asked about meeting and recording with Alan Jackson; his rum limit ("My rum limit is one"); the last time Jimmy wore a suit ("proba...

Yeah, I thought about that bcbuffett44. I was originally trying to cull a line or two from That's What Living Is To Me, I Have Found Me A Home or Lone Palm. But I'm also thinking re-sell value when it comes to time to put this one on eBay and get the latest, newest toy. *laughs* I have to wonder if ...

Buffett iPod - ideas?

I was lucky enough to catch Buffett's Indy show on 6/26. I was amused by his iPod references during She's Got You and got me to thinking... What Buffett-ism should I have engraved on my Apple iPod? Any fellow Parrotheads care to help me decide? I think I have it narrowed down to: Fins To The Left, F...

What's with Ticketmaster's time limits?

I have a billion complaints with Ticketmaster but I think my biggest has to be the new time constraints placed on a ticket order. Last year I had 5 minutes to complete my order - and sometimes due to THEIR system limitations that was barely enough. Imagine my horror when I landed pavilion seats for ...
