Here's a question for you all...we usually come on from Wellington Road using the 234 exit (#44)(meaning we turn left into the parking lots)...does anyone know if it better to go pass the 234 exit and take the 29 exit (#43) so that we will be turning right into the parking lot and also approach the...

Great!

It is helping build my suspense. I just realized that I put more effort into this concert/tailgate than i do for most major holidays (i.e. Christmas).

On a sad note, the tarp we got for tailgating came one pole short and my grill was disgustingly moldy. Off to get another.

hey moonchikin. I had the same question yesterday. My group (10-15) will be leaving Arlington/Fairfax around 11:30-noon. I do not trust the NIssan employees, they are schmucks. Somebody else said Nissan emailed him last week and said the gates opened at 12. And last year I showed up at 12(when the g...

Quick question: Last year rthe gates opened at noon. This year the nissan website says two. When is everybody planning on going? I want a full day of tailgating, but do not want to sit in my car for two hours without being able to get in. An update: I just called the pavilion to complain about the e...

Hey fins2rt: You can find mine in the Springfield area - LUVNLC - We got it the first week they were out. We got our first comment from a parrothead this weekend. She said it was the first she had seen and she was tempted to change but for her belvoed Redskins. Now come on - that is an easy choice. ...

While it should only take 90 minutes do not count on it. Two years ago it took me about 30 minutes down the street to the entrance around 3 (a Tuesday). Last year it took 5 minutes at noon. A guy I was selling a ticket to took well over an hour to go the last mile and get situated. If you are not fa...

My comments and mine only, but: You may be nuts for going to Vegas with a family. Especially for a week. The kids, assuming they are not of gambling age, will get bored quickly. It is no longer a family town. And I just realized that I have never been to a bar in Vegas. I drink at the tables... I do...

Last year at Bristow a couple across the lane from us was appearing to. I could not tell you if it was just dry humping or GDAS. But anyways it as interesting because they had been going it at for a while in the open so everybody could see (it was pre-concert). People about six cars down had brought...

No harm done. I assumed the sarcasm was there, although I missed the inflection in his voice. The sad part about my Southern Cross/Southern Man confusion was I was singing Southern Man in my head. I know the song, know there was a conflict of some sort. Just combined a few stories. In any regards I ...

No problems. We learn something new everyday. With so much music out there it is hard to figure out who is whose music.

I may have missed some strong sarcasm, it has been known to happen. But I will say this anyways: Southern Cross is a CSN song. And for that matter, wasn't it actually CSN & Y. I thought it was some verbal battle with Lynyrd Skynyrd. Then again I could be wrong, that also happened before, but jus...

I have heard myself cover Jimmy daily. And I do not think I get the credit I deserve. Although my last concert did sell out in less than five minutes.

Sorry, needed to escape this world for a little while. And with that note I will leave work.......

Obviously there are multiple angles to every story, but I would say we are lucky. Basic supply and demand tells us that tickets could be two to three times more than they are, maybe more. If lawn seats sold at $70 face value would they sell out in 10 minutes or less. I would believe they still would...

It happens all the time. I had it happen to me before. My second set of tickets got cancelled. Interestingly, when I called on Saturday night about being cutoff, I was told I my tickets were voided because of too many people online at once (evidently they are run by old AOL employees). They then off...

I called and was told my tickets were voided because to many people tried at once. Sounds completely fair. Both people I spoke with knew I was calling about right away. THey said they got tons of calls. They offered me pavilion seats since they voided my lawn seats. I probably should have taken them...

I had a really miserable experience this morning. In today's Washington Post's Weekend Section there is a big ad for the Bristow show. Do they really need to advertise?
