Went to Negril Margaritaville on my honeymoon last year. Absolutely hated it. It was the worst experience of my life. Had to listen to hard core rap the whole time, as well as a 3 minute loop of guest footage on the tvs. Extremely disappointed. My only explanation I can come up with was it was the J...

We got a chocolate lab puppy this summer. Initially going to be named with some kind of JB reference, but we were drawing a major blank. We ended up with Melo, for Carmelo Anthony and the National Champion Syracuse Orangemen. Anyway, we crate trained her and she took to it amazingly. We put it in ou...

The impersonation was horrendous, but the skit was funny. Horatio is a funny guy, just can't seem to keep a straight face. Personally, I believe the cast gets a bad wrap. I enjoy it as regularly as I can.

Lucky thing the topic is favorite Buffett moment. Because if I said hearing Wino & Gypsies at Bristow, VA instead of getting married as my favorite overall moment of the year, I would be in trouble. And on a side note, the worst overall moment of the year for me was finally going to a Margaritav...

Re: For all those Northeastern Parrottheads

Here in Syracuse there is a project awaiting some action from the state to guarantee some tax breaks called Destiny USA. It's going to be a Tourist thing similar but possibly even bigger than Mall of America. Word has it from inside that when the project does go there will be a Margaritaville in it...

A few facts: 1. We are lucky that Jimmy keeps playing concerts all year, even if they are intermitent. Many performers his age do a few shows every couple of years. 2. He could choose to not play in the New England area at all. 3. While Great Woods may be an amazing show/tailgate, a Jimmy concert is...

Just got back fro Vegas last night. It looks like a lot of work needs to be done, but they were working all day Saturday. There were painting the outside, a Volcano and the Margaritaville logo. You can see inside and it look likes most of the design has been built, but little painting was done yet. ...

I went to Sam Goody and nothing there (they actually told me it came out last week and they didn't carry it, so I don't trust them much). Amazon.com is saying November 4 as the release date as of 2 minutes ago.

Mailboat does not have any updates.

Evidently something similar (the throwing thing) happened at Merriweather. When we went to go into Nissan we brought a bottle of water per person (it was about 95 degrees) as per Nissan rules. We were told we couldn't bring them in and no bottles were allowed throughout the concert. They said Jimmy ...

I have wondered this for a while. Since I assumed Jimmy played a very laid back style of music, everybody must like his music. Last year when I attended my first concert (Nissan Pavilion) I expected to see people of all races. My reaction, almost instantly, was wow everybody here is white. The only ...

About the checkpoint. For those who don't know, a stronger Virginia DUI law just took effect. While I don't remember all of the specifics, I know fines for 1st time are about $250 and if there is a minor in the car it is a mandatory jail term (5 days I think). I have heard that Virginia (at least No...

I may have a few extra tickets (1-3 lawn seats). Friends have been backing out. If you need a ticket email me (bbarba3@comcast.net). I am not looking for any crazy amount of money, cost of ticket plus the extremely unecessary Ticketmaster charges.

I was a virgin last year and vowed to bring virgins every year to the shows. Nothing beats the feeling and experience of that day. One of the people going with us this year has been down in the dumps lately and i think this will help to cheer her up bit. Buffett's music always does it for me!!!
