Just for the record, it was that damn root beer that made me switch to Crown that night.

For those who don't know Portmaster Greg, he's the membership director for the LSPHC. Among other things, he's the guy putting together the Meet and Greet in the parking lot for the clubs. Rest assured, this ain't his first rodeo and I'm sure it will be a good time.

Hey Greg, the birthday bash sounds like fun. If I don't have the kids that weekend I'll try to be there.

I'm breaking in the Frisco silent auction edition on the boat tonight. I didn't know he'd done a Tom Petty cover, and Wildflowers was a great tune for the ride into the marina. Rock on!

I grabbed some Chinese food and some beer, and I'm on the boat listening to the Encores CD set for the first time the way God intended. What a way to finish a Monday.

In addition to the Hoot Island banner, Tyler brought me the rest of the signed Blood Work books and the Encores CD set signed by Jimmy.

I'm thinking a Flying Saucer after-party might be in order for Sunday after the concert, for anyone that's still going to be in town. Is anybody game?

Silly parrotheads, there is a heater in the cabin of the boat. I like the antifreeze line better though. It's 72 and sunny here now. I wish we would have had more of this weather over the weekend.

I slept on the boat last night. I hadn't done that in a couple of years, it was nice!
