Re: Buffett At Bonnaroo

My first thought was "Wow! I wanna go!" and then I stopped and thought about it and realized I've seen Jimmy with a huge crowd of people twice and I if I go, I won't even get New Orleans church fundraiser food!

Re: Goodbye To Scalpers & Ticket Brokers: Thank you Miley Cyrus!

What if let's say the 2 tickets you do not need, you can sell at face value or less. You could meet these people at the venue prior to concert time and collect your money and walk them in with you. This would work in a lot of situations wouldn't it? But if you could walk them to the venue, that imp...

Re: Goodbye To Scalpers & Ticket Brokers: Thank you Miley Cyrus!

I personally do not like this idea at all. I've had to stand at the windows before with other people to pick up their tickets from will call and it takes a long time. Imagine 25,000 parrotheads (and a lot have started the weekend early) trying to fumble around to find their credit card after the ga...

Re: Recording advice...

How good is the microphone on your digital camera/camcorder? You'd get video as well, so she can monitor the faces she's making as well as the sound (because let's face it- it doesn't matter how good she sounds if all you see are scrunched up eyebrows and tonsils).

Re: Crystal Head Vodka

I bought it for the bottle (which is undeniably cool). The vodka is...well, it's vodka, and they're all pretty much the same. But after drank it, I refilled it with Agwa coca leaf liqueur, which is a startling shade of green and look very exotic inside a clear glass skull. I also recommend filling ...

Re: Favorite Comfort Food?

Tenderloin sandwiches- pork tenderloin, sliced a little thin, then pounded out and breaded in Saltine crumbs, shallow fried, on a honey white bun with Miracle Whip, good tomato, iceburg lettuce and pickles.

Re: Kitty Litter

We have a Littermaid- it will work for a while, but depending on the number of cats you have, it might not last long (we've killed four so far, but we had five cats until recently, now we have four). I would suggest buying them from Costco, as they have the older style that works well, rather than t...

Re: Home Made Cheese

We made our own mozzarella. It was a lot of work for cheese that wasn't any better than the Bel Gioso from Costco.

We're going to have an extra gallon of milk this week, so we'll probably try again.

Re: WHich would you rather drive?

Within my family we own several small cars. MG Midgets, Bug Eyed Sprite, Triumph, and Porsche. I'm comfortable driving them although I love my van. My father was a fleet instructor for Mobil Oil. He taught us all how to Drive Defensively. Be aware of your surroundings at all times, be polite to fel...

Re: True definition of a sore loser

My uncle chucked his remote at his newly-installed plasma TV after a bad Colts throw. He hit it, and has a lovely black spot and crack in the bottom of the screen.

My aunt is making him keep it like that so he thinks before he throws stuff.

Re: 2009 SPRING/SUMMER SHOPPING REPORT

Has there been any sightings of the Margarita or Strawberry Daquiry (dont think I spelled that right) Jello out there?? Anywhere...... I found some at Kroger's a few weeks ago. It was in a cardboard stand on the end by the bakery, about six rows from where the Jell-o should be- it was just sort of ...

Re: Not happy about the canceled West Coast Dates!

What if the MGM is the cause of the cancellations? Do you want Jimmy to point fingers at them, get them p***, and possibly lose any future Vegas dates as a result? I want to add "when they're probably not thrilled with him anyway for his deal with Harrahs that will directly compete with them i...

Yeah, that's the same thing they show on TV with the woman dragging it back and forth across her skin to show "it can break skin, it only cuts hair." If you want to say, "it can be disassembled and used as a weapon" so can my ball point pen. There has to be some intent for it to...

I'm kind of wondering how much it would cost to rent a port a potty for the day and put it in the bed of Captain Morgan's truck.

It's worth $20 to me to have it, and we have at least 25 in our group- they can't be more than $500 per day, can they?

Re: A dangerous new weapon for young girls....

An eyebrow shaver is a razor blade on a stick, sometimes with serrated teeth. It could easily be used as a weapon, even if that wasn't the intended use.
