Honestly, at this point I think Alpine simply is the Chicago-area show. It was even advertised as such back in 2019 as Jimmy’s “only Chicago area concert” on billboards around the city. The last time I believe he did both an Alpine and a Tinley/Bridgeview show in the same year was 2016.

I believe it’s 1:00. Last time (2018) there was a line of cars lined up on the road waiting for them to open the gates and they did so right around then. It’s a pretty great time there!

I've seen Madonna and Neil Diamond there. It's fine, but those concerts kinda don't compare to Jimmy. Jimmy just feels better in an outdoor amphitheater.

No harm in booking ahead, I just make sure the room has free cancellation. I had every weekend in August booked at the hotel i usually stay at for Alpine and then just canceled them all when July was announced.

7/18 is my assumption as well. Went ahead and booked my usual hotel just to be safe. Assuming he skips Indy again, that Thursday smack in the middle of Detroit and Alpine has Cincy written all over it. Bigger question is will he skip Chicago? There are pluses and minuses to every venue, I keep in mind this adventure must end at some point. Eventually he will stop touring. I make a point of going to as many shows each year as possible and making the best of where ever I am lucky enough to see a show. Enjoy the ride. I couldn’t agree more...

I'm flying in for this show and Chula Vista. Wasn't sure what to expect pre-show wise at these spots. Assuming no parking lot for the San Fran show?

I actually record almost all of the live streams on my computer. I'm not at home to check right now, but can you recall anything about them that would help me see if I captured that part of the video? I don't think I have the entire pre-show, but I know I should have some of it at least.
