Excluding Jimmy Buffett I would have to say that the Best Concert I've ever seen would be: George Harrison, Dark Horse Tour, 1973 in the Salt Palace in SLC, UT. Basically it was the Concert for Bangaldesh without Eric Clapton. Amazing musicians supporting him and George was truly wonderful to see li...

As to how one gets between cities, fly! Any good travel agent can help you get airpasses so that you can fly within Brazil relatively cheaply. Rio is a wonderful place to visit however you must remain aware of where you are and what is going on around you at all times. Rio has a serious crime proble...

You know, from my perch, it would appear that some people here are really pushing things if what Jah says is correct. If you don't want to read about the music news, then don't read the post. No one forces you to read it. I find thing posted here that are far more objectionable then cut and pastes f...

Cork has a fairly small downtown area which includes the Harp Brewery. It's a short tour and they generally give free samples. If you have the time you can go to Kinsale and sample some of the finest dining in Ireland. Due to the nature of Blarney Castle and the amount of walking necessary, I think ...

I'm glad to hear that Henry is doing better. Please keep an eye on him since the effects of the oil may take a little while to become obvious. As for being crazy for talking to your pets, well, I talk to my dogs and cats all the time and they talk back. It's a pity I don't understand what they are s...

You know there used to be a sign just after you enter Idaho on I-15 that said to visit the Potato Museum in Blackfoot, followed by "Free Taters for Out of Staters".

If Jimmy were to do Boise I would be there, no problem.

Sail On Keith Knudsen

I had the pleasure of meeting the band in 1979 and Keith was one of the more outgoing people there. He will be missed.

I wish you the best of luck. My ex owes me $18,600.00. Her excuse is that it's too much work to send me the money from Australia where she now lives. If she ever comes back to the States then we shall see what happens.

They were the first concert I ever went to. I was 12 or 13 and they put on a great show. I have all of the LPs and none of their CDs. Just haven't gotten around to it I guess.

They were a good band and had some wonderful songs.

All the vinyl except his first, all the CDs, one 8 track, a couple of cassettes and all the VHS and DVDs as well as all the books. I've finally managed to get Freddy and the Fishsticks 45, still working on getting all the movie soundtracks though. I also have to go out and get Nanci Griffiths new CD...

Much depends on your tastes and budget. Me, I would skip the Flamingo, it's become a dive with only one draw and that would be Margaritaville. If you are going during the week almost all the resorts will have deals. I generally stay at the MGM, which is large but the level of service and maintaince ...

Vacation

A great deal will depend on what you like to do. Me, I would probably take it and spend 3 or 4 weeks in Ireland, relaxing and pub crawling.

Some other options that come to mind, chartering a boat and sailing through the BVIs. Taking a Windjammer Cruise in the Southern Caribbean.
