I would really love a copy of this show which I missed due to Comcast going out.
I can offer up a number of CDs for trade so just let me know.
Thanks

Favorite CD
Today it's Las Vegas, just because it brings back all the memories of the show, plus it fills in a few gaps in the memories. However I am partial to Last Mango, Changes, Riddles, Floridays, Son, A1A, Soup, Beachhouse, Far Side, Fruitcakes, You Had to be there, Feeding Frenzy, Rancho Deluxe, BBBB, Wh...

FSOTW in concert
If you look at Jimmy's setlists for the last 10+ years, he will promote the new album for one tour and then drop it for a year or two. Following that he adds a song here and a song there from the "recent" albums. Think about how many songs from Beachhouse, Carnival or even Barometer Soup a...

misheard lyrics
I've got a friend who thought that the line in Southern Cross (yes, I know it's actually a Stephen Stills song) was "looking for that Mormon girl" as opposed to "looking for that woman girl". Slight difference!

Boat Drinks
I've been listening to Boat Drinks on Live365.com for several years. It's a good station, although the pop up ads drive me crazy! I will have to check out Jambalyaya Jam and see how it sounds. I'm glad to hear that RM is available through yet another source.

Utah Parrotheads
I've been a Parrothead since 1979 and I've lived in Utah since 1973 so I allow me to point out a few things about Utah. 1st. You can get Long Island Ice Tea, etc. at any private club. It's a little odd, but it's certainly not unique. Look at Texas where it's county by county wet and dry. Or Oklahoma...

Great Show
Sorry it's taken me so long to put up my reply, it's taken a couple of days to recover! I thought the show was great, the pre-party was kinda subdued compared to April or Memorial Day 2002, but it was still fun. Ran into lot's of old friends and made some new ones. It was amazing how many folks made...

Las Vegas Bound
I will be there one way or another! I probably can't make the party at Tommy's this year since my 10 year old daughter is coming along but I will be at the MGM and at the show. Counting down the days until I can get into a state where adulthood is legal! See you at the show. PS. If you turn off the ...

filesharing and CD sales
I think this copyright issue goes back to a simple idea that many people have about artists. "They have so much fun doing what they're doing that they don't really care about being paid." Maybe it's a twist on the old Puritan work ethic thing, too. "If they want to be paid, let them ...

Flying from California to Newfoundland
If they fly on Air Canada from Los Angeles to St. Johns Newfoundland, they could depart about 1:00pm and arrive after 2:00am the next morning. That's quickest I could find on a scheduled flight. If they fly on a private aircraft and left at 12:30pm and had the range for nonstop (roughly 3300 miles) ...

Meet me in Margaritaville
Not only did I buy myself a copy but I had to buy my daughter one as well or I would never get to listen to it! :-? We listened to it on the way down and back to the Vegas show in April and very well may do so again in September. I have to admit I have almost all of these songs on one of the other C...

It was filmed in the St. Vincient and the Grenadines, as well as bits and pieces lifted from around the Caribbean Sea and of course a wee bit of computer generated graphics.

Jimmy Buffett on the radio
KRCL, 90.9 plays a bit of Buffett during their Breakfast Jams 6am to 9am, M-Sa, as well as Saturdays from 9am to 1pm and Sundays between 10am and 6pm. It's a communtiy supported radio station with volunteer DJs and they play whatever they want so Jimmy gets a wee bit of airplay from them. Otherwise ...

Got hooked on Jimmy's music way back when
In 1976, when I was in high school, my buddies and I would hang out at a pizza parlor that some other friends worked at. The jukebox didn't have a great selection of music but it had Come Monday and for some reason that song was enough. I was hooked! I went to my first concert 3 years later, drove d...
