Re: AirTran or JetBlue, would you fly either again?
I have mixed feelings about Air Tran, primarily because they don't have ticket and baggage agreements with most other airlines so if they break a plane, you're stuck waiting on them to fix it or to bring in another plane or you have to purchase a ticket on another airline. Then you have to reclaim y...

Re: Strep
As one who has suffered from strep many times in my life, I suspect that it couldn't hurt to have the tonsils yanked, especially while someone is young. Getting it done when you are older is very painful and takes a lot longer to recover. I sort of wish that I had had them yanked when I was a kid.

Re: HELP! I need new computer ideas
I have NO idea if this computer is worth it, but I can move it around and be pretty mobile with it. It is the CLICK: Dell ONE 2305 I love the 23 inch screen and the wireless mouse and keyboard and internet. I watch all the stuff I want on the computer screen. And the sound is great. Re: How do these people get in touch with Jimmy
A friend of mine has a business making custom fly fishing rods and several years ago he decided to make one for Jimmy. He initially tried to get a hold of Jimmy via Margaritaville. No luck. What did work is that he made a second rod for Ramos and got a hold of him via Charleston and Ramos arranged f...

I dislike: Altered Boy, Autour De Rocher, Everybody's on the Phone. At least right now they don't work for me.
I like: Take Another Road, If the Phone Doesn't Ring, Ballad of Spider John, L'Air De La Louisiane, Prince of Tides, That's What Living Is To Me.

For those counting on the Mayan doomsday, the actual date has been revised by an anthropologist who could do math and it is now scheduled for October 23rd, 2011.

I thought he was dissing Kenny Loggins who fell off the stage back in the early 90s and broke his arm.

Re: 7 and 9 year old too Young for a Concert?
I started taking my daughter to Buffett shows when she was 7 and she's now 17. She really enjoys the shows in Vegas, was really disappointed in the one in San Jose and gives San Diego mixed reviews depending on which year you want to talk about. I would strongly suggest earplugs and make sure that t...

Re: booze across state lines? legal?
If you purchase liquor outside of the State of Utah and then bring it into the state, you are violating the state laws. This is because the state is counting on your tax dollars, since there is a minimum mark up of 67% on the price plus a hefty tax added to the liquor sold in the State Liquor stores...

Re: RIP Gary Moore (Thin Lizzy)
He started out with a power trio called Skid Row, in the UK, not to be confused with the later group with the same name. He played with Thin Lizzy, which is how I got to see him perform live the first time. Then he went solo and did a variety of styles, finally reverting back to his roots in the Blu...

Re: # of concerts
Having been to about 100 of his shows, I would have to say that they are all good and all slightly different. The venue, the crowd, Jimmy's mood, my mood and lord knows what else, seems to impact how they come across. I've never been truly disappointed in his shows, other than when he was an opener ...

Re: Sedona Arizona
If the area around Sedona, Cottonwood, Camp Verde gets to warm, take a short drive up Oak Creek Canyon, stop and slide down the rock at Slide Rock or continue up the canyon and explore the area around Flagstaff. You'll want to do that regardless of how hot it is yet it is a great way to escape the h...

Re: Carnival Splendor
We only went on one "big cruise" ship. I didn't like taking a crowd with you wherever you went. However we loved the Windjammer cruises we went on. Less than 100 passengers and they went to smalle,r more unusual islands. Cars can leave you stranded too. When we were on St Kitts last year ...
