Re: Sheba Inu mistaken as coyote - set loose in wild
A shelter here thought that a Jindo (the national dog of Korea) was a Sheba Inu. When we picked him up from the shelter, it was clear that he was a puppy and he was bigger than any Sheba I had ever seen. I hope that they extend the search a fair distance because Shebas tend to be wanderers and explo...

Re: What Tolerance Looks Like
Why did the video stop just before the cat ripped the puppy's throat out? Here's another very tolerant kitty: http://imgur.com/f5kzo HAHA, I pretty much thought the same thing. Somewhere out there is a maltese missing an ear. But very cute! Thanks for the link of the cat photos, that is one ...

Re: travel to Cuba close to happening??
You can go via Mexico, Ireland, Costa Rica, the UK, Russia, Jamaica, Columbia, Brazil and a host of other countries. For US citizens, it is illegal to go there, without the State Dept. permission and it is illegal to spend US dollars in Cuba. While parts of Cuba remain stuck in 1961, much of it is a...

Re: Gulf Coast Concert, no real relief for the Gulf.
A concert DVD, much like the Concert for Bangladesh, has the long term potential of being a big money maker. First, not everyone has access to CMT. Second, CMT is only showing a portion of the show. Third, what happens when your cable or dish goes out in the middle of your taping. Fourth, extra feat...

It reminds me of the revisions of US history that the Texas School Board wants to make.

Re: Buffett Music is Played in The Strangest Places
This past December, my daughter and I went to San Francisco for the day. We flew fairly early and wandered around Union Square and then walked over to Chinatown for lunch and while standing inline to order, the little old Chinese cook was whistling La Vie Dansante. It took me a minute or two to plac...

Re: Tim McGraw Versus Buffett
Having seen Tim McGraw, not from the front row, but from the lawn, I would go to see Jimmy Buffett and sit on the lawn before you could inflict that abuse on me again. Drunk rednecks do not make a good show. And sorry to say, but without technology Tim isn't that great of singer.

My best friend's gravestone says "I told you I was sick". He had been claiming for the 20 years that I knew that he was going to die that year. Needless to say, he was finally right.

Re: Getting to Meet the Reefers
They are a really nice bunch. I've had the pleasure of meeting them all at one time or another. I'm somewhat envious since I've never managed to meet them at the show and thus may have missed out meeting some of the other staff/support people. I'm glad you got the chance to meet them and that you to...

I have a 87 Cherokee Laredo with 206,000 on it and a 89 base Cherokee with 189,000 on it. I'm afraid that I'm going to have to spend a little money on the 87 shortly. It needs 4 new tires, a new fan for the radiator and a bit of spot welding to close up a hairline crack in the exhaust manifold.

Re: Sign in if your done with BP forever!
Based on what I've read, seen and heard from the media and from speaking with several people who work in the oil and gas fields in Utah and Wyoming, they place the blame on the operator of the well btw, I have come to conclusion that the initial problem was caused by cutting corners and failing to u...

Having done the divorce thing, I wish the best of luck to both of them. I don't agree with a lot of their politics but I don't wish the pain of a divorce on anyone, with one or maybe two exceptions.

Who are you?
Sorry, I can't say that I know you well enough to even think about talking about you, either in a positive or negative manner. I will tell you that with one or two exceptions on this board, no one is going to come forward and admit that he or she was trash talking about you.

I know where she got hit and this wasn't the fault of Google. The driver who hit her was negligent and had left the pavement when he hit her. Also, this was before the release of Google Maps tool for cycling and walking so she was access information designed to get drivers from point A to point B, n...

Re: Need Advice on Out of State Moves
You may want to contact a local freight company and see how much they will charge you to haul your stuff in one of their trucks. A friend of mine moved from Salt Lake to Boise a little over a year ago. She called IMF or ABP or Old Dominion freight line, they dropped off a trailer on Thursday night, ...

The deal was that Jimmy was going to start the show as soon as you were committed to the beer line. So that's why the show started early. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I remember hearing an interview with Jimmy where he said that he is/was a big fan of Frank Sinatra and had always wanted to perform with him. This was the closest he ever got.

I will be seeing him this summer at the Red Butte Concert Series in SLC. It ought to be a great show sitting on the lawn, enjoying the sun, some wine and the music of Allen Toussant.
