It is the artist right to say what ever they want, just as it is our right to say and think what we want. I hit record is not a trade in for First Amendment rights. People can choose to not buy Jimmy or Bruce or anyone else, but really who doesn't know what these guys are about by no? Springsteen ha...

I picked Stars fell on Alabama though I enjoy most of his covers. I love Stars on the water, but I am not familiar with the original. It's hard for me to pick a cover that to me is not a cover (I know no other version of that song).

I'm talking about the quality of football. With the exception of Vandy and Kentucky most years, you're always going to see a good game when you watch two SEC schools play each other. As for the stadiums, obviously you've never seen the UT Navy nor been inside Neyland. While I am an Auburn fan, I gr...

Of the Atlantic albums, I have Roll the Bones which is excellent and Counterparts which is not as good, but certainly a solid album.

Don't know about Presto, but "Show don't tell" from that album rocked.

An Atlantic compilation would be nice.

LIPH, you are welcome to come down South where the only real college football teams reside. Welcome to the SEC! having lived in Atlanta for several years myself I agree that the Southeast is a great place for college football, but the best? I think the crowds of 100,000+ on Saturdays in Happy Valle...

I can't wait though I hated to see how the Big East got gutted. I admit that Miami and VT might make geographic sense to be in the ACC, but BC too??? It's too bad that the Miami FSU game is early, I want the loss to hurt the loser bad (can both teams lose???) Oh well, at least there will be a good g...

Congress controls the purse strings, not the president. Exactly, everybody likes to blame the President, but... The budget doesn't sign itself. By the way when are all those countries that we baled out after WWII gonna pay us back ie..Japan, Germany, etc if they pay us back with interest we wouldn't...

Like many of the democrats I have conversed with you seem to believe only democrats posess the ability for orginal thought. However untrue your belief is I can understand your desire to hold it in high esteem. Unfortunately it keeps you pathetically marginalized from intellectually honest conversat...

IT'S DIFFERENT BECAUSE THEY RUN AROUND IN PUBLIC SPOUTING OFF AT THE MOUTH WITH THE MOST IDIOTIC STATEMENTS WHICH ARE USUALLY SO UNINFORMED That's a pretty blank statement, but like as it has been mentioned before, if it brings awareness than fine. Mack the knife is a great song and I love their duet of it. The only weak part is that Sinatra in 94 had obviously lost some of his voice, but that said, I really enjoy listening to that one. I had bought the cd just for that one way back and it's really the best one of the disc.

My thoughts on cds that I have in this collection: One Particular Harbour 1983 ****1/2 Stars, OPH, California Promises, alone make this one great, though, the weak ones are pretty weak. Riddles In The Sand 1984 *** Consistent sound, nothing classic, but nothing terrible Songs You Know By Heart (Hits...

I really don’t like how he capitalizes on misery (i.e. 9/11, Columbine..) Well it's too bad that you see it that way. It's too bad that he can't question the symtoms of a situation without being criticized for doing it. I can see valid criticism in how he does it, but many hate that he explores the...
