I think that aloof cat thingie is a myth! My cats are pretty much the in your face type unless they are sleeping (which they do a lot) Even sleeping, they like to be near where you are. My Wee Caroler (persian from last batch of cats) was terrified of anyone but my hubby and me....but she was glued...

Only took a year, but we finally got a kitten yesterday. A mostly white female with some black spots and a black tail. Her name is Oreo. A little skittish but friendly. She likes to sleep on your head.

I guess this means kid will no longer want to be an Oscar Mayer weiner.

Can a radio station be a landmark?

Looked at maps today... it's 6 hrs for me to the arch and LaClede's landing, but the Harrah's is up the road a spell. And Except that you don't want to go downtown and then onto Harrah's. You want to take 270 around St. Louis to 70. It's probably only about 15 minutes farther than downtown this way.
