I can understand the parents with children spots from a safety perspective, although on Long Island I haven't seen any of those spots. My peeve is how carelessly they issue handicap parking permits. I have seen people jump out of their cars parked in handicap spots and dance into stores walking bet...

First, the Hemisphere Dancer to some Caribbean location. Then pickup a sailboat to cruise around the islands. A night or two with Jimmy playing around a fire on a beach. Maybe hit a bar and watch Jimmy play in front of a small unsuspecting crowd. Finally a round of afternoon golf.

My job has become a bore. But it pays okay and I don't have to work more than 40 hrs/wk. I can leave early if I want, as long as I don't abuse the privilege. So, there's little conflicts with what I need/want to do during my off time. It works with the rest of my life. I don't hate it. I'm 51, so th...

wCs If you can't afford to go, have a party at home with your friends and listen for free online, we have all done that. I am thankful that we can do that for free. Somebody on another forum suggested I just stay at home and listen to the concert on Sirius. I had to explain to him that my car would...

frankly, it's really at about my "I gotta think about this" stage now. north of $150 and it's "well, I can buy a Sirius receiver and drink at home for what tickets cost". Paying $5k is never going to be in my book, frankly paying $200 is probably going to be skipped with the dis...

I understand about the store saving/making more money by not paying employees. However, my time is WAY, WAY more valuable than that. If I can save time I really don't care that the store is making more money or not. I'm always in a rush when shopping and have more important things to be doing than ...

Re: Ahhhh

Ah, Jimmy just sold out Riverbend today in 10 minutes-I think that's quicker than last year. He's not slipping-if anything the economy is tanking. Remember the demand for Jimmy tickets is fairly well correlated with East coast shows and summer shows. Mansfield is after Labor Day so that market is a...

Offer to buy your neighbors a drink! That would be 2 people to your left, 2 people to your right, and 2 people directly behind you. 4 of the 6 will take you up on your offer, but all of them will be cool with you the rest of the night. It's the best $20 you could spend. Out of curiosity, what venue...

I had tickets for St. Louis on my screen yesterday. Far right, next to last row and I threw them back. I couldn't bring myself to pay $614 for lousy seats. A couple of years ago, I would have taken them. I was looking at ticket stubs last night and Jimmy's first concert at this same venue was $26 (1...
