I It is very troubling to me (snip) We, the people, need to speak up and take action to preserve our rights. No offense, but y'all are worrying about the window treatments while the house is on fire. We ARE at war. They declared it on 9/11/01. And you can't limit the identification of the "ene...

though I do trust Dan Rather . Scary. That guy put the "lib" in liberal media bias. Even back in the 1980s he was trying to set up Reagan to look stupid. Fortunately, he was really bad at it. Here's the story... the movie "Rambo" had just come out, and while walking off Air Forc...

No Soda At School?

The story came out this morning. Apprently with prodding from the Clinton foundation, the major players in the soft drink market (Coke/Pepsi) have agreed to stop selling sugared sodas in school. It's an effort to combat childhood obesity (and to head off school/state-instituted bans on such!) Think ...

Jon Stewart. Greta Van something - they seem like they only focus on the same crap for months at a time). You nailed that one. Seems like Greta can only keep one news story straight at a time. She's been on Natalee Holloway for the last year or so, straight. I hate that Natalee is missing, too, but...

Which anchor-person do you believe?

Growing up, if Walter Cronkite said it, I pretty much believed it. With the current (and just retired/died) bunch, it just ain't thataway.

So... which newsanchor do you trust?

Just curious.

(BTW... my vote's with Brit Hume, so I suppose I'm a right wing nutjob. )

Yikes! And that's from an Indiana paper- even our Democrats are Republicans!!! We only have 2 more years to go, and I'm pretty sure the rest of the party's just about had it with him (along with most of the public), and now that this is coming to light, I think we're about to see a work stoppage in...

I think he'd just say "holy sh!t!" and laugh. I agree with Q & S - I think old Jimmy would be astounded at the way his life has gone and just feel very lucky. Kind of glad he has tamed a bit tho.cause so have I, Thought about this a while longer and can just imagine telling "yest...

What would "Jimmy of yesterday" think about "

I recently loaded up my mp3 player with all the Buffett I have, and took off on a road trip that took several hours. I had the player set on "play any song" and after a while was kind of struck by the differences in song topics and themes. Example: A song ("Havana Daydreamin", I ...

Am I missing something about politics that somehow, in America, the leader's deeds/misdeeds are related to whom he is "doing", as you all so nicely imply? Well... not really... except that poor judgment with women probably indicates poor judgment in a bunch of other areas, too. :win...

Also, has anyone ever stopped to think that we wouldn't have these recurring school shootings (in this case planned but not carried out) and massacres if these kids didn't have ready access to guns and ammo? I guess that goes back to bad parenting. When I was in high school I had a boyfriend that w...

Maybe vivisect their brains and find out whatever causes such "negative" behavior. They already know....these kids, like the others, were bullied and as it looks now, no adult stepped in to stop it. This doesn't mean that these kids don't deserve punishment....they do.....but why it happe...

Most of the core team (and yes, the band) have been with JB for years. As with any employee/employer relationship, no doubt there may be areas of difference of opinion, but the fact that folks have stuck around this long should give you a pretty good insight into how the man is perceived by those c...

"Consensus is the absence of leadership." I have never heard anything so f***ing arrogant in my entire life. If you think you're qualified to be a leader, you must have the skills to persuade, not just railroad. She always was a world-class p****. Bravedave, you might be interpreting this...
