No Soda At School?
The story came out this morning. Apprently with prodding from the Clinton foundation, the major players in the soft drink market (Coke/Pepsi) have agreed to stop selling sugared sodas in school. It's an effort to combat childhood obesity (and to head off school/state-instituted bans on such!) Think ...

Jon Stewart. Greta Van something - they seem like they only focus on the same crap for months at a time). You nailed that one. Seems like Greta can only keep one news story straight at a time. She's been on Natalee Holloway for the last year or so, straight. I hate that Natalee is missing, too, but...

Which anchor-person do you believe?
Growing up, if Walter Cronkite said it, I pretty much believed it. With the current (and just retired/died) bunch, it just ain't thataway.
So... which newsanchor do you trust?
Just curious.
(BTW... my vote's with Brit Hume, so I suppose I'm a right wing nutjob.

Yikes! And that's from an Indiana paper- even our Democrats are Republicans!!! We only have 2 more years to go, and I'm pretty sure the rest of the party's just about had it with him (along with most of the public), and now that this is coming to light, I think we're about to see a work stoppage in...

What would "Jimmy of yesterday" think about "
I recently loaded up my mp3 player with all the Buffett I have, and took off on a road trip that took several hours. I had the player set on "play any song" and after a while was kind of struck by the differences in song topics and themes. Example: A song ("Havana Daydreamin", I ...

Also, has anyone ever stopped to think that we wouldn't have these recurring school shootings (in this case planned but not carried out) and massacres if these kids didn't have ready access to guns and ammo? I guess that goes back to bad parenting. When I was in high school I had a boyfriend that w...

no offence to anyone but OKC bombing had to happen, Timothy McVae Is an AMERICAN HERO. He showed our government how easy it was to kill a bunch of INNOCENT PEOPLE (aka WACO) I was at the OKC bombing site just a couple of weeks after it happened. McVeigh was a terrorist and a murderer. The punishmen...

Most of the core team (and yes, the band) have been with JB for years. As with any employee/employer relationship, no doubt there may be areas of difference of opinion, but the fact that folks have stuck around this long should give you a pretty good insight into how the man is perceived by those c...

Re: What athlete did you 1st idolize?
And on a similar, but different note, what athlete 1st caught your attention, and made you want to emulate them? The 1st I can think of is Magic Johnson... LOVED him! :D (ironic that later in life the Laker Girls would be bridesmaids in my wedding! ) Kurt Rambis (not much talent, but started ...
