No, no, no, no, no. Jimmy has NOT jumped the shark... not even close. Yep, it costs $$ to go see him, but for that weekend, I have more fun I can almost anywhere else. A couple of days in a fun city, tailgating all afternoon, and Jimmy on stage that night... it's about the only time I can really let...

We checked out a lot of types and had experiences similar to what others have said. Memory foam was too hot, etc. etc. We finally bought an off-brand sleep number. Absolutely LOVE it. I prefer an extra, extra, extra firm mattress, while she prefers kind of pillowy. This way we both get what we want/...

Everyone seems to be down on CIP. Here in Miramar Beach, Fl. we have an excellent team running the show. Scott, one of the managers, Micha, James and Cristin behind the bar do an excellent job taking care of us locals. I go for lunch once a week and the food is always hot, fresh and prepared to my ...

Landshark vs. Corona

Hadn't seen Landshark mentioned in a thread for a while ( ) so thought I'd throw one out for ya. Being as Landshark and Corona have been Jimmy's two major beer sponsors in the last 40 years or so I'm curious what everybody thinks. A lot of ya'll love/hate Landshark and a lot of ya'll love...

CIP? Was it just like Margaritaville only with a different name? they are very similar, but very different. both are G-D-A, but CIP has a B Minor thrown in there. and Marg is played as the show closer, while CIP is considered by many to be a bathroom break song. Music humor. Brilliant!  ...

hope not. the prices will go up and the quality down.  Perhaps it’s just because I’m one of those weird vegetarians, but I think the food is better at Margaritaville. But you could be right about the prices. When they first opened, they were almost comparable- but M'ville was still bette...

hope not. the prices will go up and the quality down.  Afraid that was already happening. My first few visits to CIPs were great. Great food, great atmosphere, good service, good prices. Really enjoyable. Over the last 12-18 months, though, I've been back a few times and... not good. Foo...

My wife's a nurse, and a good friend of hers who is a doctor suggests this remedy... He gets a six-pack of beer and starts drinking it. Am I Really A Movie (Co-)Producer????

Hey, For a while now, I've been doing Polling Point Surveys. Did one tonight on movies, and it ended up at this point: http://www.coproducer.org/ Supposedly, a group is making a movie, and they're planning to give interested parties a chance to take part/offer feedback via surveys. Also, part of the...

Got rid of my tonsils at age 5. Had a lot of strep up to that point, and HAVE NOT had strep since (I'm 38 now.) :o :o :D :D :D

Don't miss them, glad they're gone, and glad I got rid of 'em early. Tonsil surgery gets worse as you get older, so the younger the better.

Good luck.

From the movie Cars, "you need to turn left to go right". I don't get it. It's actually "turn right to go left" It has to do with power sliding a car through a turn using opposite lock steering http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opposite_lock Basically, you turn into a left handed cor...

Re: Does anyone know the semi-true story behind these lyrics

Well, the picture is fuzzy, And the details are sordid. It was on the same day God's Own Drunk was recorded. A walkin' tall sheriff And a big Cadillac And me and my golf shoes On the hood makin' tracks. This daring young singer Was under attack. I think the lyrics are actually based on a true story...

Like others have said, the movie was pretty average. Pretty neat idea, although actually I've had a "bucket list" for several years now - just didn't call it that. I got the idea from APLA50... Jimmy basically has a bucket list in there, and I borrowed the idea. Lessee, my list goes like t...
