Down in Jamaica
they got lots of pretty women
Steal your money
then they break your heart
Lonesome Sue
She's in love with ol' Sam
She take him from the fire
into the frying pan

On and on
She just keeps on trying
and she smiles
when she feels like crying
On and on...

That is a really lovely song which Linda Ronstadt has covered as well as Johnny Cash. One of the things about our Jimmy is that he pays all due respect to the people whose music and lifestyles, values, etc. have influenced him. So disappointed that the Seattle feed was a no-go. Stayed up till midnig...

Another vote for Mac . . . he kicked singing "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" with Jimmy at Great Woods! Their acoustic duets (especially on "It's My Job') showed how well their voices blend and accentuate the other's stronger skills. I'm down with anything with a Cajun sound -- a la Lou...

Both of them could/can sure hit the right mix of bitter and sweet in a ballad for sure . . . 'Operator' and 'Coast of Marseilles' were both songs I listened to while trying to recover from youthful breakups. We lost too many too young in the 70s. Thank the other JC for the part played when JB surviv...

Press on, oh diehards . . . the year was 1896 when Twain's travels took place and full-blown Victorianism prevailed, with little of the PC attitude known (almost ridiculously so!) by our generation.
