Re: Anyone know why Toyota Park (Il) concert is not sold out?
Sign of the times. For the June shows at Great Woods (Mansfield, MA), the Saturday show sold out quickly, but the Thursday show had good seats available right up until close to the show. I didn't check last minute so don't know if it eventually sold out. These two shows used to sell out within minut...

Re: Disney World
Just got back from a 7 night trip. The highlight was the return of the Main St. Electrical Parade at the Magic Kingdom! It's only back through the middle of August, but it really brought back some great memories from several years ago. And man, did it draw a crowd.

If you are into shore excursions, we took a trip to the rain forest a few years back that was good. About an hour each way on a bus.

Re: Disney World
Just trying to CPR this thing back to life after more than a year. Heading down there in Sept. Wondering if anyone could tell me where I can get my tropical drink on. Been 5 years since we have been there, and also wondering if anything since then is a must see. Thanks! Don't remember exactly how l...

Re: "Right from the Beach" Snorkeling for those that fear.....?
Just last night on House Hunters International they featured a piece on Roatan, Honduras and said you can snorkel right off the beach. I'm not very good at posting links or pictures  but I bet you could find the piece on their website. Roatan has good snorkeling from the beach, but I'm not su...

Re: Booked our Virgin Islands Trip, taking suggestions
Definitely recommend Magen's Bay. Beautiful beach. Frenchman's also has it's own beach which is nice and obviously convenient. Only hotel guests can use it. Our favorite restaurant at Frenchman's was the open air restaurant near the tennis courts on the walk to the beach. Don't remember the name. Du...

Re: GW Tix already on TicketsNow.com
The tickets for GREAT WOODS will be sold through LIVE NATION only. TM will not be involved. JB's show is the second Live Nation show for Great Woods. The first show was for Phish which was a fiasco, you may want to read other posts about LN ticketing. Sometimes the employees are the last to know. C...

HIYA! I did the search thing but didn't really find what I was looking for (granted, I stink at search, so I'm sure it was user error....). Anyhoo, we may head out on a a cruise in March that will take us to Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman. Of course, I want to hit the Mville cafes at each place, but am...

Ever notice how the Key West travelers feel compelled to start a new thread every other day, while this one endures? Wonder why that is?

I'll be in Orlando next week for a wedding and I can't wait for the nice weather...it's too early for snow up here  . I'll have to do the bar crawl in Margaritaville and have a drink at each bar. :D While it probably won't snow in Orlando, don't assume it will be real warm all the time this ti...

Re: Orlando Margaritaville - need a ticket to Universal?
We're going to Disney the second weekend in Nov and we're planning a stop one evening at Jimmy's dive and I'm thinking that a ticket to Universal won't be required for dining, but I just want to make sure... So, is it? THANKS! nope.... no ticket required And in the evening, parking at the Universal...

Here's a tip for October, especially if you have kids. On a few nights Disney has a Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom. It's a seperate admission, requiring a special ticket. They sell several thousand tickets, but THERE ARE NO LINES AT THE RIDES. You can basically walk right on. So d...

Afternoon Concerts
The time of the Great Woods show on 9/6 was changed from 8 to 3 due to the impending storm. I for one did not mind. In fact, it was kind of nice. We didn't have to rush out after the show, and even with a two hour drive got home at a relatively decent time. Maybe late afternoon like 5 would be even ...

What a decision! I've got news for you, you'll have a great time on either. I guess I'm leaning slightly towards the Eastern. We've done both of these itineraries multiple times, and Ocho Rios and Cozumel are not my favorite stops (although Ocho Rios has a great Margaritaville within walking distanc...

Two reasons why we won't go. 1) It's bound to be overpriced. We did go last year to this show and paid something like $250 per ticket. 2) We really prefer outdoor venues. I know, I know, it's more tickets for all the rest of you. But given the choice, I'll take GW anyday. Having said that, have a gr...
