Beaches in Cozumel

Hi All -

Any suggestions for a nice beach in Cozumel? Not real interested in snorkeling, just relaxing, drinking, etc. Looking for a place with decent facilities. We'll only be there for a day, off a cruise ship.

Thanks.

I wonder....is this place one of the standard tourist things you don't want us to suggest? http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j14/redrocker26/Marg-OchoRios.jpg When we were there a couple years ago, the DJ was basically playing elevator music for the cruise ship crowd. We asked for some JB. He was p...

Also, remember that a lot of times for stadiums, there isn't any tailgating that you usually see (ie. Fenway, Wrigley, MSG, etc.) Yeah you can go to a bar, but it's not the same as the parking lot all day. You could do some serious tailgating at Gillette Stadium. But if you think the traffic is bad...

Just to let you know, I click often. I just don't bother to post it here, although I am happy to see everyone else doing that. I would guess and hope that there are many more like me. :D :D

Overall I would choose outdoors, but The Garden the other night was the most fun I have had at any Buffett show before, and that was indoors. So, I guess it depends on the night, the crowd, and the music. MSG had all that and more.... what a great time! Completely agree. What a great show! The rain...

Indoors versus Outdoors

Hi All - On the way home from MSG on Thursday night, we were debating (in our drunken stupor) whether we like JB better in an indoor or outdoor venue. Over the past several years we have seen him outdoors at The Meadows (Hartford), Great Woods, Jones Beach and Fenway Park. Indoors at MSG, Miami and ...

New York Hotel Rates

... are astronomical for the night of the concert (9/14). Many of the Manhattan hotels are quoting $400 - $600 per night.

Anyone have any suggestions besides sleeping in the park?

Re: I HATE Ticketmaster.

Many of those seats are acquired from season ticket holders at the venue. You can't stop that as long as the venues are selling season tickets. As a practical matter, the venue can't (or maybe doesn't even want) to control the resale of the tickets. In my view, the only practical way to get this un...

Re: I HATE Ticketmaster.

I don't even begin to understand how Ticketmaster operates. I know that I had 3 people on computers, and 2 on phones trying for Alpine, and got nothing. SOLD OUT! But the thing that surprises me the most is what I found after the tix were all gone (?) I had already bought tickets for Indy through a...

I was there a couple of years ago. Great experience. Highly recommend it. My wife loved the sweet potato fries.

Joe's is crowded and expensive, but worth it. The restaurant is way down at the southern end of South Beach.

I've about reached my limit. I'll try to get tickets on Saturday, but if I don't it won't feel like the crisis of past years. Will just move on. There are lots of other things to spend $126 (plus fees) on.
