Re: Tickets
Well, I was not lucky enough to purchase tickets the other day. In any event I called the same ticket place from last year. Their price for lawn tickets, $80.00, amazing. Their story, only one show this year and they think as the date draws near lawn tickets $100.00! :o I would not buy now at $80 f...

Well, my question is why was this thread even started? It seems to me it's whole purpose is to make fun of loyal fans who's venues got shut out last year and this year... I don't think the people on this thread are making fun of loyal fans. Rather, they are making fun of people whose lives are thro...

Re: Who are the biggest Whiners
The Great Woods crowd and their "We should get all weekends every year" or the Alpine Crowd with their "We better not get skipped, our venue is so big you cant see the stage from the lawn"schtick?????? This is one of the most amusing posts I have seen on Buffettnews. The funny t...

Maybe not directly, but he can influence prices by deciding how much to ask for a performance.iuparrothead wrote: JIMMY BUFFETT DOES NOT SET THE TICKET PRICES!!!
There are a few artists that have the influence to do this. Dave Matthews Band is one group that makes an effort to keep ticket prices affordable.

Re: Tailgaiting at Cinci and Indy
I was wondering whether the security at Indy is as harsh on tailgaiting as the claim? Is the tailgaiting at the campgrounds great? Finally, I heard Cinci also says no tailgaiting but I hear it's good. Just trying to decide which concert to attend. Taking suggestions Tailgating is discouraged at VWM...

Re: indoor shows
Hey Parrotheads! Never been to a concert in an indoor venue. What's it like? Do people dress up? Is there partying in the parking lot similar to Nissan and Merriweather? Thanks for helping! Fins up! I have been to three indoor venues. The one at the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina was one of ...

I guess with all his country music crossover success, the days of small and medium size venues are gone forever. Looks like he has finally sold out and gone the stadium route...and I'm more than just a little sad. B. What are you talking about? All of the dates released thus far are for mediu...

I don't understand why anyone should be concerned about what he said. The relationship between JB and his fans is quite simple: fans pay him in exchange for entertainment. I agree that JB is a gracious performer, however, to those who attend 8 of his concerts every year and have 1000s of posts on a ...

I am very comfortable using ebay. Feedback is the best indicator of how well a transaction will go. Contrary to a previos post, I would not pay with a cashier's check or money order. You are then trusting the seller to send you the tickets and have little recourse if she does not. I reccomend using ...
