Special Shows this Week on RM

Here at work I can't get to the Sirius webpage, and yesterday I couldn't find anything on the RM website about the special shows or guests this week. Does anyone know who and when these are going to be?

hey guys. I have a very basic 6 string fender accoustic I bought some 10 years ago for my son, but he was really interested. Its still fairly brand new. After reading a couple of your posts, I thought that may be a very fun way for me to relax away from this computer - to learn to play a few cords....

Re: Jimmy's Guitar

It appears to be a 1969 Classic Telecaster. It is listed on their website and appears to be currently available in natural, they just don't show a picture. Although Jimmy's is probably custom, a replica can be had. http://www.fender.com/products/search.php?partno=0136902300 I still bet anything it ...

He's playing a Thinline Tele. Fender made a run with them for a while, but they may or may not be in production now. The only thing similar that Fender shows is the Custom Classic, but the finish isn't there. It could be something from their custom shop, but most likely it's an older model. Fender ...

have you ever done the Bud, Bud Light and Coors light Draft test?? even the bartenders I know get it wrong most of the time Draft taste varies so much, depending on age, time since tapped, etc. Bottled (and Pastuerized) is much more predictable in taste. I could definatly spot a bottle of Coors lig...

A question for those more advanced than me... I can play pretty decently with basic chords, but the barre chords are driving me crazy. Most of the times they come out sounding pinched. I've heard that it may be the guitar I'm playing ( an Ibanez PF3), but I think that I'm just doing something wrong...

Enjoying the guitar talk! During the August 5, 2006 show at Tinley Park, Jimmy said he had picked up a new guitar and it was a Replica of the 1972 Fender Telecaster. http://img3.musiciansfriend.com/dbase/pics/products/3/2/8/268328.jpg http://www.kellyindustries.com/guitars/fender_telecaster_72_thin...

Should he learn on an electric or an acoustic? 2. I'm a petite person with equally petite hands. Would a uk...

To veer a little off topic, any of you ever tried Mandolin? For some reason I am enchanted with it and considering buying one and taking lessons. I don't know though, since looking at 40, I'm wondering if this old dog can learn any new tricks. Guess you never know until you try. This falls into my ...

Finger picking takes a ton of patience, dedication, practise and a relaxed attitude towards the strings. Hammering away is for when you can get your rhythm down AND not getting your fingers stuck. The easier the approach is the better the results. Kind of like hitting a golf ball. Oh yeah, and some...

Re: Jimmys Guitar

To me it looks like a Fender Telecaster based on the writing on the head piece and the shape of the body but most Fenders don't come with an f-hole . I don't think you can say that here. I was waiting for someone to say something. I was surprised when I learned that thats the name of those cursive ...

Singing out loud is definitely out for me, I usually just sing the words in my head, it's easier on everyones ears that way. I'm saving up to get a Martin acoustic, a 000 series would be nice. It's always great to meet another picker! I had a 000-18 before my McElroy. Those are great guitars. The o...

I have been playing for about 8 years, not a lot lately since my 3 month old daughter has been born. But, I am hoping to get back into playing more in the next few months. I have a Les Paul, Strat, Fender PBass, a beater acoustic, and a custom McElroy acoustic. Way more crap then I need, but I love ...

Re: Jimmys Guitar

In that great new picture of Jimmy on the BN homepage, what is the guitar that he is holding? To me it looks like a Fender Telecaster based on the writing on the head piece and the shape of the body but most Fenders don't come with an f-hole. Sometimes I'm just too curious for my own good. It is a ...

Back to my actual question, do you think we are going to see more dates announced? Do you think they will be for the summer or fall or when?
