Re: What was your most favorite Buffett show ever?
My favorite was a concert in the late 90's in West Palm Beach. The tailgaiting was superb. Buffett fans are friendly and generous people. While my wife and I were cruising around the parking lot, we were offered and accepted a half a lobster tail each fresh off the grill. We also ate some tasty clam...

I don't see this concert listed on Ticketmaster. Are the Tampa tickets only going to be on sale through LiveNation this Saturday?

Oh yeah! I'll be there. This will be the weekend after my current semester is done. Just got a room at La Quinta and this is a great place to see Buffett.

Re: BR's Clam Chowder
The only part that looks iffy, Joe, is the cheddar cheese. That's pretty unusual for clam chowder. You could add your favorite seafood including cod, scallops, etc.. to make it a seafood chowder.
The chowder sounds good because it's starting to get cold here. It got down to 55 last night.

Aruba is one fun island. I found this message board to be helpful when I went a few years ago: http://www.aruba-bb.com/. The Flying Fishbone is a pretty good place to eat. Madame Janette's is another option for dinner one night. The food and service are fantastic. I used Econo Car Rental when I went...

He will probably still be around. The Notre Dame schedule saves him. There is only one current Top 25 team on the schedule, USC. BC could give them fits but the I think the line right now is ND -11.Frank4 wrote:Anyone think Charlie Weiss will be the head coach at Notre Dame after this season

I saw Aerosmith twenty years ago and again in 2006. Before I saw them in '06, I was hoping they would play some of their old music. To my surprise, they only played the old stuff. It was a great concert.

"I blame our elected officials and executive branch for adding the line to the stimulus package that allowed these bonues to be paid. Say thank you Chris Dodd."
That's the same way I'm reading it. Dodd looks like a dodo for lying about it.

Re: Here's why the AIG bonuses don't bother me.
Treasury department officials knew about the bonuses as early as Nov. 25th. Part of the agreement to give AIG $40 Billion on this date was that the treasury department explicitly allowed AIG to pay individual execs as much as 3.5 times their base salary without treasury approval. As one poster state...
