Fortunately we took our 11 year old son this year.
he will always be able to say he saw Brett Favre at Lambeau Field. Good times.

True story, sometime around 1984 (we can finally blame our memory loss on the years gone by, and not the booze) I was in an elevator in the Columbia Inn in Md, and the elevator stopped between floors. Much to my suprise, Jimmy walked in. it was just me, Jimmy and a buddy for 6 floors. It was great. ...

I was actually at the December 10th show. It was 1989.
Ed Bradley came by with about 10 pizzas which Jimmy promptly fed to the audience. It was a great time.

The first time I saw him (July of '80), Livingston Taylor opened for him. I have also seen the Neville Brothers open for him.

26 out of 28...

This week at Nissan will be 26 out of the last 28 years that I have seen Jimmy Buffett at least once in a year in concert.
I missed 1993 and 1996, but other than that, I have seen him every year since 1980.
I am getting old.

Oh, yeah, as far as albums go, I love "You had to be there" as a time capsule, but Coconut Telegraph was the first one that came out after I saw Jimmy for the first time, and that album really confirmed his work for me.

My wife and I were in the Dixie Grill outside of Pearl Harbor 2 nights ago. She asked for a Corona and they told her they didn't have it but they had Land Shark Lager. Of course she ordered it. How it got out here, I'll never know, but I had my first sip of Land Shark at Pearl Harbor. Pretty cool. O...

Did you ever notice it's the people who can't afford tickets who b**** about the musicianship of certain artists. We go through this evey year, people. If you don't want to spend the money for tickets, don't. Just let us do it if we want to. You can not put a price tag on a good time. Stop your comp...

I've got mine, Charleston, S.C. year round. That is where we will end up.
Also, Green Bay, Wisconsin at Lambeau field when the Packers play their last home game. That place is about as fun as any I have ever been.
