I don't think that you can put a price on fun. I will get tickets as long as I am able. I probably paid $14.00 or so the first time I saw Jimmy. Of course the price is going to go up, everything usually does. Including the number of people whining about ticket prices. It has been said here a million...

I'd like to thank Jimmy for...

If one were able to meet Jimmy, and thank him for something, what would it be? (aside from the music) For me, I would thank him for exposing me to the richness of Southern culture. (Although I have spent most of my 43 years in the south, I still consider myself a New Yorker!) Obviously Key West woul...

On December 10, 1989, Jimmy played the Beacon Theatre in Manhattan. At one point in the show, there was a knock on one of the doors at the back of the stage, Jimmy went and openend the door, and it was Ed Bradley. he had about 10 pizzas with him. Jimmy proceded to feed the audience pizza. I was with...

There is a bar a couple of blocks away (31st, between 6th and Broadway) called "O'Reilly's Pub", it is a good place for a pre concert Guinness. they probably wouldn't know a Parrothead from a door knob there, but that's okay. It is a good place. I don't live in New York any more, but I hav...

There is a bar near the "Garden" on 31st, between 6th and Broadway ( I think, I mean, I know exactly where it is, I just don't know the address) It is called O'Reilly's Pub. Years ago it was a great ol' pub, but now they have spiiffed it up. I still like it anyway. It is not a "Parrot...

I love Jimmy Buffett's music and the lifestyle he sings about. I love the way that as a young man, he seemed to know that there is untapped wisdom in older folks. I love Key West, John D. MacDonald and Fenway Park. I like the "Yellow" album. I don't care who knows it. I also don't care wha...

Say what you will, but I have always thought (since the late 70's, anyway) that Randy Newman is one the greatest musicians America has ever produced. His soundtrack to the movie "Ragtime" is one of the great pieces of music ever recorded.

We had a ball. The only negative was trying to leave. The Parking situation at Nissan is a nightmare. We were parked in the newer "Satellite" lot and trying to leave was a debacle. As for the show, I thought it was fantstic.

..."Prince of Tides" does anybody know who the "Giovinno"(sp?) that Jimmy is referring to? As in Goodman (Steve), Giovinno, John MacD(onald). I am curious and can't figure it out. Thanks, and on to Nissan we go.

My first was "Changes". My first new one was "Volcano". I do remember taping "Coconut Telegraph" off of the (at the time) local Washington D.C. rock and Roll station. I thought it was odd because the station never played Buffett, but then they premiered an entire album....
