I use to work at the Half Shell Raw bar in Key West. Often, Manatees would swim right up to docks behind the building. We would give them fresh water right out of a hose They were just the most incredible animals.

I went to my first show in 1980. I was 16 years old. We had 12th row seats. First of all. it was a lot easier getting tickets then. There was not as much competition for them. I have seen Buffett more than 100 times since then, and there are some changes. The shows seem to no longer be laid back. Th...

I always thought that "come a little bit closer" was a close cousin to "Cuban crime of Passion" , a natural for JB to do.

If you read the liner notes to "You had to be there", Jimmy writes "..."or just yesterday in London, when they gave all our suites to Gladys Knight and the Pips."

I lived in Key West for a while and never once was made to feel as if I was an outsider. Most of the folks were also outsiders, but if you work there, one can sense a feeling that the locals are superior to the tourists. I never cared. I've moved around most of my life. It is not my fault I was rais...

I liked the simplicity of the dvd. I also liked the fact that it was Fenway Park, as I have been a Red Sox fan longer than a Buffett fan. (and I first saw Jimmy in 1980) I was talking to the wife last night, remarking on how you get a 2cd set, with a dvd, and it is only 16 dollars and change? I will...

I would prefer Mr. Buffett to do his thing behind the scenes. I don't need to know whether he donated or not. Perhaps the jolly poster who started this thread will donate all the money saved from all the concerts in the future not attended, cd's and or dvds not bought, and while your at it, quit dri...

Cape Cod...

I am going up to the Cape next month(specifically Chatham). I haven't been there in 25 years. I will be there a week and am looking for some places that might appeal to a Buffett fan. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
