On stage last night Buffett confirmed that plans for a “full tour” are in the works. “I’m hearing August, but we’ll keep you posted,” he said.
So no July shows it would appear and some sort of modified August tour schedule into the fall is the likely scenario.

Re: “Rescheduled” Buffett
That Billboard article offers some promise for summer shows but either a few won't happen like the 8/7 Virginia show because still as of today Peter and Jim Mayer are still listed as the headlines for a musical festival that same nights in Chicago. Along with Mick Utley, Brendon Mayer, Erin McAnally...

Re: “Rescheduled” Buffett
Tickets for ZBB @Fenway go on sale May 14th (May 11 for the ZBB fan club). This will be the first tickets for a newly scheduled Fenway Concert since COVID. It will be interesting to see if the plan with selling tickets is all seats are available in all sections. Or if they will cap the ticket sales ...

Re: “Rescheduled” Buffett
That would be amazing. And sort of surprising, since I keep reading how unhappy everyone is with Charlie Baker. I think our Gov Mills has done a great job managing the state through this and from a distance, Baker seems to be as well. My keet (20s) already has an appointment for his 1st vaccine. Th...

Re: “Rescheduled” Buffett
The Governor of Massachusetts announced today that the state will be 100% open by August 1st and back to pre-covid rules. Assuming the case numbers don't spike over a long period of time and there are no set backs. Mass is about 2/3's the way to herd immunity and should reach it by the end of May so...

Re: “Rescheduled” Buffett
Buffett has def been vaxed. You have to assume all the wealthy got special access to the shots early on. And with the way he is out and about the past several months he would have to be vaxed.

Re: “Rescheduled” Buffett
Sports teams have players who are under contract so they have to play the games and as mentioned the owners get TV and radio ad money. All states except Texas have capacity restrictions. Musical artist don't have contacts like professional athletes and it would be tough to do a tour when capacity re...

Re: “Rescheduled” Buffett
Will be interesting to see the price for a virtual concert. $20 for the ticket but after Housekeeping Fee, Recliner Fee, In-Home Convenience Fee, Parking(In your own driveway) Fee, Electricity Fee and Wi-Fi Fee it will end up coming to $50. If I can get Housekeeping, Reclining, and In-home Convenie...

James Taylor with Jackson Browne PPD their full 2021 summer tour and moved it to 2022. It is noted that Taylor's annual July 4th Tanglewood show was not part of this tour and that there will be a separate announcement soon regarding the July 4 Tanglewood concert in the press release. Whoops.... I a...

Re: Margaritaville coming to Boston
Another thing, the property managers of the Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Ashkenazy Acquisition are under a lot of scrutiny with how they have dealt with the pandemic and the merchants. It has been a complete mess, they fought earlier last summer with the city over its unwillingness to provide relief to...

Re: Margaritaville coming to Boston
Hi heard yesterday that it's going to be in Faneuil Hall. My brother bid on the project, I guess they want to draw people back to that area. The Seaport area has taken some crowds away from there. A friend who works for the Boston city government and deals with permits and a Parrothead told me a fe...

Re: “Rescheduled” Buffett
I was supposed to go to Buffett concert on my birthday, September 27, 2003 at Irvine Meadows, outside of SD. I was flying out the day before the show. A bunch of BNers were going and were going to stay at a house of another BNer who lived in SD. Two days before the show Buffett's mom died so he canc...

Re: “Rescheduled” Buffett
My guess, any boat show would be done in a private area, where they can regulate the number of boats. Like at a yacht club or a private boat docking area. Or in a particular harbor (no pun intended) that can be patrolled and have it managed so they can limit the boats coming in.

Re: “Rescheduled” Buffett
In Western, MA they do a few boat shows a summer on the Conn River and the band is on a dock or a barge while the boats fill in around the area. These are not well known bands, more local type bands who are unknown outside the area so people don't flock from all over to see the shows. With most show...
