I must make a correction. Mike, a little bit ago i went to the Avis site and put in the PH MOTM code and reserved a car for 25-28th for $138 total. P/u at FLL and drop off at EYW (KW). Booked it!

Mike, we've done it both ways. The drive out to Orient Point LI and then taking the ferry from there is a nice way to go. You can see the farmland out on the island and stop at any of the roadside stands. The ferry ride is nice and not that long. This way you side step all the crap, congestion/traff...

I miss the days when we got into the lot by 9:15 and had breakfast (you name it, it was there!) in the lot..what a way to start the day!!
