Downtown Littleton is great. Very charming. Cute stores and places to eat, and easy to get to after a concert at Red Rocks.

If you are extra adventurous, get off the light rail at 10th and Osage stop and eat at the Buckhorn Exchange: Rocky Mountain Oysters.

If you have other non-downtown things go do, it probably isn't worth the money to try and stay there, when Lakewood makes downtown very accessible. It is the quirkiest place on the planet! One of the oddest bridge/overpasses I have ever been on. Had a great breakfast at a place called Junior's Cafe. Was super quirky. It is exactly like the show Portlandia would lead you to believe.
