I'll also agree with Carnegie Deli for Fantastic Cheesecake. They also ship these out, and they are great, even if you are not in NYC. While at Carnegie Deli, share items. They charge a little more to share. We go for the Matzoh Ball soup (Matzoh Balls the size of baseballs, that are Fluffy), the Re...

Not a waste of time, IMHO. I did see one of the Billboards when I was up at Fargo, ND a month or so ago. It was out by the West Acres Shopping Center. Also enjoyed seeing the billboard in Daytona on I-95 south of the exit for Daytona Speedway in February. Yes, they are all over in Florida. Not a bad...

I have heard rumors that the Schooner Wharf bar may be torn down at some point. This would be due to the new condo project across the street from Shrimpboat Sound and Schooner Wharf. I hope this is incorrect. The Schooner Wharf is one of the few remaining true Key West haunts still left. If building...

Sorry No Pictures for me. I did have my cellphone and suppose I could have gotten one on it. My camera was in my Harley, I could have gone back out and grabbed it, since the bike was parked down just a little ways from B.O.'s. But opted for just enjoying the whole experience. I did get a picture of ...

We were just down in February. Restaurants: Columbia, very nice Cuban restaurant, spanish courtyard style. Lunch is very reasonable. The 1905 salad is excellent, they prepare it at your table, cuban sandwich is very good. They have a half sandwich and half 1905 salad special. Plenty of food. There a...

Yes, we do sometimes need that little lift in our lives. That's why I have a picture of the sunset from Mallory Square for my screen saver on my cellphone. It brightens my day in more ways than one. I also have a picture of Jimmy's Studio on the cellphone and that is what my girlfriend's numbers bri...

Yes, I recognize these places and they do bring out a nice smile. Great pictures, Thanks for sharing. Heck of a first trip to Key West. Glad you were able to see the Key Deer. So many people think they don't exist because they don't see them on the main road. I have seen a few right off the main roa...

Sounds like a Helluva visit to the Keys. Glad you had a great time. We always enjoy ourselves in the Keys. Never able to do it all. But just another reason to go back again and again and need I say more. My girlfriend just received her two pounds of Baby's Coffee that she ordered from their website....

Okay, so head out to the nearest Kohl's and the only Margaritaville Concoction maker they have is the display model. So they call to one of the other stores. Sure enough they have some unopened. The concoction maker is the original not the premium, sorry for the previous post. Went to the other stor...

I see in our local Kohl's Newspaper ad that the Margaritaville Concotion maker is on sale for $199.99. This is for the Premium version it appears. I tried online and they show that none are available but you might check your local Kohl's. It also says on the cover of the ad, if you use your Kohl's c...

I would stay away from the private charters, unless you are looking for them to do the bulk of the work for you. These are very pricey, can be upwards of $700 for a day. Unless money is no big deal to you, then have at it. We were just down in January and February and had friends that did the privat...

One more thing to share: When you are at Orlando Margaritaville ask if Marrinell is working. I believe she usually works the patio bar. I believe the parking rate is $11 for the basic parking and then there is a Premium Parking that gets you closer to the walkway. Not sure on that cost, like $15 or $20. The parking fee is not charged after 6:00 pm. Checkout the website: http://www.margaritavilleorlando.com/index.php?page=parking Mak...

You might check on Embassy Suites in South San Fran. It is not far from the airport, but would be a bit of a drive to Fisherman's Wharf. Not a bad drive though, freeway most all of the way. It gets you in right by the baseball stadium. Then just a short drive to the wharf. This also has you heading ...

If you are driving from the south up to Northern California the cliff stuff will not be as bad. You will mainly be on the inside of the road rather than if you are southbound then you are hugging the edge of the road. Make sure and make plenty of stops and take in the views and here the surf rolling...

Won't be doing the Bike Virginia but am very familiar with the area since we have been down for the Nascar races at Bristol, TN, a few times. The area is very hilly, so I would suggest being in pretty good shape. The whole area is very pretty, it will make a very scenic ride. Not sure of their route...
