saw them at the fleet center, it was awesome, but the crowd was aweful, way to low key, peoplel telling to be quiet and sit down gduring hte show You have to admit that the S&G crowd is getting a little long in the tooth. Plus, it doesn't strike me as the kind of music that makes you want to ge...

Last night I was going thru the bargain bim at Strawberries and I found "Ultra Lounge: Mondo Exotica" for $3! Basically a collection of tiki bar music. Nice background for the pool this summer. 8)

I'm listening to Jimmy Buffett Concert Replay East Hampton, NY, October 13, 2001. During his little opening monologue he stated that his stage was an "international teleprompter-free zone" and that if he needs one to get through "senior moments" he will head for the beach. He the...

I picked up his greatest hits album last year and was blown away! Bought his latest 2 months ago and it sees regular play in the car.

You just missed him in New england. He played in Concord, NH on May 15. I wanted to go but had to host a birthday sleepover. :-?

Unless you are into country music, NAWLINS ROCKS!

History, culture, nightlife, it's own music style, etc. Nawlins just has a "vibe" to it that I never picked up on in Nashville. Actually I enjoy Memphis far more than Nashville.

Congrats Tampa Bay! One of the best finals I can remember! Great hockey played at a level my beloved Bruins can only marvel at. Talk about timing. They got to keep the Stanley Cup for 2 years (or more). The NHL finally gets it's wish of a southeast champion, and they're going on strike. Anybody noti...

I saw telapromters at the Elton/Billy Joel but not at the last Elton concert byhimself, maybe it was Billy who needed them..........and any way Elton sounded AWSOME!!!!!! The one that Elton uses is a small LCD screen (painted the same color as the piano) mounted just to the left of the rack in fron...

There is a problem with the memory. When it first happened it said there was no memory used. Then i ran scan disk, it found a problem between reported memory and actual memory. It fixed it. Now when I look at my properties memory numbers are correct, but the whole pie and both number spots are the ...

Some things I can only do in safe mode. Seems to be things like running programs. For ex. I ran scan disk, defrag, and norton in safe mode. I can open folders from safe mode. In regular mode I can go on line and go to any website, but going to the start menu, then my favorites list. But if I try to...

It sounds like you fried a critical component on the motherboard. If you have an antivirus program on it (and keep it current) I doubt it was a virus. If you can wait I would install the HD in the new computer as a secondary drive and try to get at the files that way. Otherwise you can try a complet...

It sucks to get old! At the Aerosmith and Elton John concerts I've been to recently you can clearly see the teleprompters with the lyrics from the side angle seats. It makes you wonder how many other artists use them.

Another reason to love Jimmy!

I got together Saturday night with several friends that attended the David Bowie concert here last week. They said that during one song David was doing some dancing and was grooving with the bass guitar towards the back of the stage. He was several steps away from the mike when his singing came over...

The studio version of Pencil Thin Mustache always left me saying "so what". Listening to TT&S I found the life given to it by the crowd, so I went back and studied the lyrics and began to understand what it meant.
