ya, it's an end of an era... but the new tiki bar will look a bit like this one!

alright... so I bought new 2x4's for the tiki bar. Sad to have to retire the old one with all the comments, pics and memories, but it's falling over and needed the Deck to lash it to, otherwise it would have toppled over... ((sigh))

Gonna make some alcohol soaked cherries for GW anyone have anything specific in mind you want me to make? I already have some soaking in cherry vodka and plan on doing another batch w/ godiva choc liquer and amaretto (think choc covered cherries-sooo yummy!). something without vodka (makes me sick....

whoa.. I'm embarrassed to have totally missed that.. and I even replied to her post! geez!!!

oh..and thinking of bringing a pool this year.. havent done that in a few.. we have a small (probably 3' round) blow up pool but then we would need a blower :wink: and some liquid (we could transport a blower from PA - not sure about that much liquid) ya, hard to transport that much water if you do...

WOW -- no posts since Monday afternoon :( I think the fact that so much goes on via FB AND the fact that we've all been through this drill so many times has a lot to do with it. I'm sure the enthusiasm is alive and well out there! :D It certainly is. Each day, I get more and more into vacation mode...

I believe that I spoke too soon about being able to have a bonfire on the beach near my cabin.. bummer.. but Carol posted on FB about being able to... THe latest news on the stairs at Marconi is that they are supposed to be done in the next two weeks. If we can't go there, there is always Coast Guar...

the balcony rooms are not balconies... there are 4 rooms that have sliders that open out to the pool area! very cool! I'm planning on getting there around noon - 1pm ish!
