That's about as annoying as when the people across the street come home at 2 or 3 am blaring their music with the windows down. Then they let it play for 5 or 10 min before they shut the car off.

I never had much luck with the pill. Ask my daughter Victoria. Plus also, no matter how low a dose I took, I got the most atrocious migraines ever. Don't get me wrong, I'm all about better living through chemistry and have no qualms messing with mother nature, but the pill just never worked out for...

I guess I could see how kids liked it. I loved the first two and this one just fell way way short. Def wouldn't pay to see a 4th. Also...for all the parents out there that take kids to movies (keep in mind I was born without "motherly" instincts, so I am critical)..... Do you take your chi...

I am soooooo glad I bought my Prius. Haven't got under 46 mpg yet. Last time it cost $26 to fill up, but that was over a week ago, so it may be $30 next time.

Still, my Escape cost $40 and I got half the mileage. And had all sorts of electrical problems to deal with.

Do you have a cell phone and landline?

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18659835/ "That's a potential problem because people with only cell phones tend to be disproportionately young and have lower incomes." I must say I'm offended.....I'm 30 and own my own home (by myself). To me it was just stupid to pay for a line for salespeople...

I was scanning through the threads and here's my beef with Ticketmaster/the ticket gods..... Explain to me how it's fair that there's some $%^*(@# on Ebay with 10 auctions of 4 tix each when true loyal fans can't get 2??? You need to get there at least 8 hours early to keep from being in the worst traffic jam you'll ever seen in your life. I went last year. Left from 20 miles away 4 hours before the show started. Missed the first 2 songs b/c it took that long to get there. I understand they've changed things but I'l...

I'm most disturbed by the fact that with his history it was still so easy for him to obtain a gun. We need to get gun laws that require profession mental health evaluations before purchases. And we should require the purchaser to pay for it. And if there is any history of mental illness, sorry, tha...

Random question..anyone familiar w/Nanticoke, PA?

My great grandparents used to own Diamond's Candy Shoppe on Broad St. in Nanticoke, PA. I am trying to find out as much about the store as possible. My dad was born in the mid 40's and grew up spending weekends at the store. The owners back then were Louis and Esther Diamond (Diamandakis). I know th...

Anyone else have a hammock??

After much debate between mayan, brazilian, rope, canvas, spreader bars, no spreader bars, etc.... I settled on a hammock from El Salvador and couldn't be happier. It's got spreader bars, but alot more material than traditional hammocks, so it really wraps around you and there's no falling out of it...

Pictures do lie or perhaps lie is the wrong word, they can be very misleading. Can you always tell if a dog is of a given breed just by looking at a picture? No, it may be a mix but it appears to be of a certain breed. Also do you or does the vast majority of people know the difference between an A...
