The theme park is classic! Build it and they will phlock. Something tells me Bubba might have second thoughts... but maybe not. In addition to the theme park maybe the ampitheatre facility would include everything that brings us all back each year - with maybe even some Parrothead "fantasy"...

If Jimmy does indeed set up a permanent show somewhere I can assure you it will be TAILGATE FRIENDLY!

I've noticed Jimmy doing a lot of two-fers this year- Indy, Chicago, Boston, Vegas. It's obviously a smart plan of attack to conserve energy on tour- especially if you can sell out those venues as easily as he can. I know I'm thinking the unthinkable here - but could it be that as JB gracefully ages...

For those of us who have seen Jimmy in Vegas over the years we just assume the pre-function will be at the old MGM theme park. I 've read, though, that construction has started on the condo project (The Residences at the Grand) and the first of six towers is going up on the northeast end of the MGM ...

My wife and I have been to many Buffett shows but Vegas is THE BEST! It's an escape within an escape. The Las Vegas Parrothead Club puts on a great party at Tommy Rockers on Friday nite (across the freeway away from the Strip) and the MGM "Parrot's Paradise" pre-party in the old theme park...
