If it didn't appear that brokers have some inside track for the best seats they wouldn't be so unpopular, disliked, okay...hated. They get a bad rap for providing their service of matching supply to demand. There is some value added there, but the value added is much less than the markup/margin they...

I've used a company named Wholesale Tickets in downtown Indy for a few different things. I don't know that they're the cheapest (but are always in the ballpark), but they're professional and have been trustworthy. Good luck!

Welcome, Stout Sailer Legs!

Obviously, concert venues are not like the stars... "They are timeless and predictable unlike most things that I do"

Wrigley will be a one-time deal and if I can get tickets, I'll be there; let's just hope he heads back to Alpine next year.

:( :( Well, there you go. No Alpine. Indy is too late in the fall. I'm boycotting Wrigley. Looks like no Jimmy for me this year. Good thing I've got my Key West trip to look forward to. Let's hope this is the worst thing that happens to all of us this summer. It could always be a lot worse. 8) Say ...

Ticket Torture

Yep, that's what I'm calling it. I'm still trying but it looked like toast within 12 minutes of on-sale. :( I haven't figured out how I'd gone from being 2 min wait time to being booted from the system...but I'm still trying...wait...I just got 4!!! :o It's just like last year...honorary lawn (last ...

centralmaPH, thank you for the great reminder, and for your courage. If only one person changes their behavior as a result of your story you have done your job. I will hopefully be at the San Jose show. I am know that the BN crew will protect me as much as possible, but I am *REALLY* afraid of the ...

I've seen the Southern Cross, the Northern Lights (both several times) but have missed this Green Flash phenomemon. I obviously need another trip down South (but wait, I just got back from the Keys -- obviously I need to go again....).

There are many, many ways (beyond being over the limit) to have fun under the influence of Buffett. :o :D

On the flipside, ticket prices aren't decreasing by any means...for Indy lawn is the same as last year but pavilion is up 25%... I guess he wan't a bigger piece of the fair market price (vs. enriching the scalpers) but that catches all of the initial ticket buyers. JIMMY BUFFETT DOES NOT SET THE TI...

Been pondering a bit further on this...is Jimmy sending a message to Clear Channel regarding their almost monopoly status (given they own both Alpine and Tweeter)? Do they also own Great Woods by chance? Along with the sentimentality of playing the old ballparks he's also showing some of the long-ti...

Nissan tickets are the same price this year as they have been the past few. I think the higher prices are really just at the stadium shows...and I think that has more to do with the demands of the venue than anything else. For Indy, lawn prices are the same as last year but the pavilion is up almos...

Re: Hemmin' and hawin'

I hear some people expressing their discord for this venue. All I have to say is, what difference does it matter where Jimmy plays? I would go see him play in a wet shoe box if I could get the tickets! Not only that but since Jimmy typically comes to the NY area every other year this works out fine...
