Re: No Buffett at Alpine, I bet ticket price is the main iss

Buffett has raised his ticket prices, read this article about how Alpine wants to keep the costs down. http://milwaukee.bizjournals.com/milwaukee/stories/2005/03/14/newscolumn1.html Interesting PR article to get fans back to the concerts. I can't imagine Alpine really wants to lose one of the few a...

Wrigley is going to be a total and utter gong show, I live six blocks away and I want no part of it, but, I'll probably go to one show. Alpine is a day I look forward to all year, I cannot believe Buffett cannot get a date hammered home. Im gonna flat out say it like it is if he blows off Alpine, t...

That doesn't sound good...I've never seen Buffett at Alpine but saw other shows there growing up. It sounds like such a sacred site...but is Buffett sending a message that nothing/nowhere is sacred? (no Great Woods one year, no Alpine the next). What I'm most worried about is upset Alpine fans putin...

Re: Mohegan Sun - CONFIRMED

June 17th, at the Mohegan Sun arena. I just called the Mohegan Sun events number. Must be new info, cause the guy who checked the schedule sounded surprised. No info on ticket prices, but Ceol na Mara said they told him April 18th as an onsale date when he called. Okay, I give up, where's Mohegan S...

Minimum Lead Time for Ticket Sales??

Anyone have any insight into this? Indy ticket sales are rumored to be next Monday morning and here we are less than a week out with no official confirmation anywhere. :-? (...and I've got things to organize and figure out...ah, the stress...)

I was at both Indy and Cincy last year. They allow serious tailgating only in the parking lot across the street from Riverbend. I think that started around noon. At Indy, they opened the gates at 3 pm and allowed tailgating, but no glass or grills. In the VIP parking area they hassled us because the...

I could see shutting down Sheffield and Waveland and maybe Addison, but Clark is too much of a main street. A couple of blocks of fun would be great, though.

It took me a couple of moments to get the Jimmy puzzle on Tuesday evening but I was still way ahead of the show's contestants. I figured that was pretty good for being on morphine and other stuff following surgery. Now I'm back home recovering, and waiting for the Indy tickets to go on sale. :D

I don't think there's a problem between Jimmy and Buzz Cason as he was one of the few Jimmy singled out to thank when he got the CMA award in 2003.

Good work PM. :D
