We got calls from Hospice and my Mom's care facility that she's winding down. Not eating. Oxygen at 80%.. so we're preparing. Could be a day, or a week, or a month. Sigh. Sending a ((HUG)) westward, Penny. My neighbor just went through this same scenario with her Dad... it was about 10 days for him...

It's muggy here too... but nothing like the heat in many other places. Still, A/C is a gift from God!!
We did get a "love note" from National Grid "warning" us that our usage is higher this month than last... REALLY?! Go figure!

We have two 7-11s in town ever since they took over the locations of both of our 2 White Hens, which was a local C-store. But I can not think of the last time I was in either one of them. I make coffee at home and was never a fan of the brain-freeze-causing Slurpee!
