Just finished the taping....Margaritaville with a tuba, interesting to say the least, I liked it. Well worth watching, for Shumpy's appearance alone. I will let him tell about it, very fun.

I should add to this that I work for NBC. While I can't make any promises, it might be an autograph opportunity. Taping is at 4pm

In the NY Post today (it must be true) there is an article in Page Six (actually on page 10) that Jimmy played at the reception of Jim Clark (65) and Kristy Hinze (28). Clark is the billionare founder of Netscape and Kristy is a Aussie model.....some people have all the luck.

Bass player and drummer as well, did not catch their names. It was indeed a good show, I am actually considering catching the show tonight also.

Went to the Friday show....best I have seen in quite some time. Django played with him as well, I'm sure that had something to do with it. I will be honest and say that I was a little surprised that after one hour he was saying goodnight but ended up playing about 90 minutes total. I found out after...

To be honest my drink of choice is bourbon but I took a bottle of Gosling's Old Rum with me to Belize....add in a hammock and a good cigar, heaven.

I tried these years ago while commuting to work on the bus, invariably I would fall asleep. I wore out more batteries rewinding/fastfowarding trying to find where I left off than it was worth. At least with a book (if I don't drop it) I'll have my finger in the page.
