It's getting an international release and this will be the cover. U.S. is changing to have the same artwork worldwide.
While they're at it are they gonna fix the music too? :D
That's hilarious.

Re: Kaiser Chiefs, The Bravery, Louis XIV....

Any JB fans listening to rock and roll these days? Maybe not rock n' roll per se, but new music in the form of the latest albums from Robert Plant, John Prine, Ryan Adams, Hayes Carll, Ray LaMontagne. Pretty good stuff out now for a year that had pretty weak beginnngs, at least from my perspective....

Early 21st Century Blues

http://www.cowboyjunkies.com/exclusives/21century/21century.html My friends have a new project out with some truly special cover arrangements of U2, Springsteen, Dylan, Lennon, and powerful originals all centered around a theme of hope. Next year marks 20 years in the business for them. Someday, th...

Re: Protest Songs

In my lifetime, this is the protest song by which all others will be measured. Hearing it shortly after 9.11 and before the invasion of Iraq, it left a beautiful scar on my heart as a reminder of our responsibility in this world....

Anyone have good advice on where to stay for relatively cheap (75-100 a night). Being a poor college student I want to find the best value. I think Binions is pretty cheap but I know that is down in old Vegas.. Any suggestions? Luxor is a classic cheap one. Avoid everything down towards the Stratos...

When we booked JB back in the early 90's, I believe he was getting $75,000 to play. Now, it's probably about 250k based on industry norms and that's not counting his merch sales which are obscene! If scalpers are doing that good, the IRS should be involved.

Re: Ultimate Buffett Venue

I was at the show at the Shell on April 19. It was my 31st Buffett show. Without doubt the Shell is THE Ultimate Buffett venue. Think of it: !) The Shell has volcanoes on two sides (Diamond Head is directly to the left), 2) there are real palm trees on either side of the the Shell (no need for arti...

Re: Tix

I take offense to the, "Don'tpay more than face value" statement. I had and have extra tickets and posted here first for face and fees. Lots of people jumped but nobody bit. So, to recoop my money back I resorted to selling on ebay. Now, I have to pay ebay fees, shipping fees and am I sup...

Re: Ebay ticket buying

Never pay more than face value. You will only perpetuate the problem and rip Jimmy off. There ARE ALWAYS tickets in the parking lot. I agree Never pay more than face value.... but I have to question..How do you figure Jimmy is getting ripped off? Jimmy gets his cut, the scalpers pay face value, I d...

I'd go $8.01 just because I can eat a lot. I've been backstage for many other shows and it's never that fun. One exception would be the time I took 4 Hooters girls into Jewel's dressing room and partied with some of her band. It brought Gypsies In the Palace to a whole new level. :)

Sold my extra for Oahu to a cute girl in a bikini. She was prepared to pay face or more but I talked her down to $20 and a rum and coke. Slightly confused by my reverse negotiating, she made it a double. :) I have a problem with taking face for something I obviously won't use.
