Picked up Coconut Telegraph Today

Went to my local Borders and picked up Coconut Telegraph, I can add

that to my growing collection now. Incommunicado is an awesome song,

I'm sure the rest are awesome too.

I maybe knew to the Buffett scene but I've had the chance to check out

his cover art. I would consider Coconut Telegraph the best one with

Barometer Soup and Last Mango in Paris coming in next.

Coconut Telegraph & Banana Wind

Jimmy is on my post Christmas shopping list and I think I'm gonna start

with these 2 albums. I have a Borders in walking distance so that's

probably where I'm going to get them.

Can you give me some info on these albums ? Your thoughts on the

songs, etc.

Thanks !

This album is great ! Every tune has a good sound, especially

Hey Good Lookin', Coast of Carolina, Piece of Work, and Conky Tonkin'.

Trip around the Sun w/ Martina McBride is really good, hope he does

some duets with her again.

JB's Cover Tunes

I know Jimmy did Brown Eyed Girl, and I see he covered James Taylor's

song Mexico on Barometer Soup, which is a good cover, it really rocks !

Did he do any other covers besides those two ?

There's Nothing Soft about Hard Times

Is this the meaning behind that song ? Or maybe part of it ?

1979: Jimmy is detained by authorites in St Barts for allegedly smuggling

marijuana.
